The public opinion about the police force had worsen. It's like nobody wants to rely on us anymore because we couldn't do anything about what happened last night, and the issue about senior Genjiro circulated around the internet and other media.
His body was found in an abandoned warehouse around 1:00 am early today. Because of it, I didn't even get a wink of sleep. My eyes were swollen and I had no appetite when I went to the station this morning. We couldn't even mourn his death because of the busy schedule and his body was immediately sent back to Japan hours after they found him.
Five months ago, I was just a boring police woman without any experience. My job was to listen to people's troubles and try to prevent crime. Right now, my job didn't really change one bit. I was sitting alone in front of my desk while waiting for phone calls of concerned citizens to answer any of their inquiries.
