When the clock struck midnight

So me, becky and Tana booked it out of the room but Becky tripped on her shoe laces and stumbled onto the floor she was about to get back up when the thing got ahold of her foot so she kicked and screamed and luckily her shoe came off and the thing was scared off because of the loud scream. She started running again but she had to stop soon after to catch her breathe me and Tana kept running on ahead not knowing she had fallen behind me and Tana made it to her room I turned back and I yelled to Becky "BECKY COME ON BEFORE THAT THING COMES BA..." Becky started screaming as she was being dragged by her foot away from us she was kicking and screaming and pounding her hands on the wood floor Tana ran out of the room and tried to help Becky but it was to late she was already gone with that thing. Tana then walked up to me and said "enough is enough it's time to fight back we can't just let that thing win when it's killed our friends" then I replied with "well what do you suggest we do" Tana answers me with a brave look in her eyes and dedication "where going to fight fire with fire" I looked at her confused and she took me by the hand sat me down and Tana told me "listen this isn't the first time this happened it's some sort of curse with the house the mysterious thing we saw is that curse and it only comes out when someone or something angers it and it doesn't go away till the clock structs midnight and that's what you are going to do" then I responded with "w-well what about you I mean you aren't going to..." Tana cuts me off "yes I am going to fight back and sacrifice myself for your life you deserve it" I then quickly say "but wait it's 11:58 we only have..." The door opens at a extreme amount of speed and the mysterious creature enters and pushes Tana down and breaks her head with its hands. The mysterious figure then looks up at me it gets up and walks towards me very slowly I back away then it's going a little faster it grabs my head and it's about to kill me then I see the clock 12:00 am and then suddenly the creature disappeared I then fall to my knees and start crying as I am sitting there alone at midnight.
