Chapter two
The thing with camps is it is hard to clean up. Jack was carving his spear more pointier and I was cleaning up. Sasha was a problem. She was in the way! I kicked her butt lightly. "Come on Sasha lets go." She moaned and slowly got up. Jack looked up and smirked. "Cleaning? Really Sue?" I shrugged and picked up garbage.
I went Into the lean to. Dirt was scattered all over the moose skin we use as a blanket. I swept the dirt. Sasha growled and slept inside the lean to. I laughed. "Lazy bear." I joked.
The wind started to pick up and rain dropped from the sky. Jack hurried inside beside me. He huddled close to me. I squeezed his shoulder. Jack never liked storms.
Sasha whimpered and nuzzled her nose against my chest. I rubbed her snout and watched the rain pour down. Jack looked at me and leaned his head toward me. He closed his eyes and fell asleep. I stayed awake. The rain soothed me. Maybe it was because my mom would look at the rain with me and hum a song. I looked at Sasha. She was asleep to. A song popped up in my head. I started to hum it.
The rain seemed to stop as I hummed. The wind died down and it was calm like a sea. Birds started to chirp. Jack woke up and stretched. He looked at me and smiled. "It's not raining anymore." I nodded and smiled. It sure was a nice day. The sun shone again and the day was beautiful.
