Chapter 9 *Alex's head is next*

Alex's pov

"why did you do this klaus?"i asked he told everything that was going on

"i was sending them a warning"he said he was walking around his mansion with mindy she's a hybrid

"Compel the men to open up this wall. We need sun. I want a fortress not a dungeon."He told her than tyler came

" Here he is: man of the hour!"Klaus said looking at tyler 

"So everything went okay?"tyler said

"no tony hit alaric instead of jeremy"i said

"it's no big deal alex message lands the same"klaus said

"You said you are sending them a warning."tyler said

" And I did. An effective one! Elena's family suffers, she is motivated to get me what I want."klaus said

" I didn't think that we actually have to kill anyone."tyler said

" Tyler, mate. What you are feeling is the remnant of a guilty conscience. I need you to get over it, okay? End of the day human life is just a means to an end. Our means to our end. You do well to remember that?"klaus said than tyler looked at me than leaves

"alex get over it , don't you remember elena knew about who killed your uncle and didn't tell you "he said than walks away with mindy contiune walking in the mansion

i was walking around klaus's mansion 

"Klaus?"i said walking around

"in here"he said i followed his voice , i enter a room i saw him standing infront of a coffin and inside this coffin Rebekah 

"you found rebekah"i said walkin to himi saw a dagger in her chest

"arent you gonna undaggered her"i asked

"no not now but soon"he said than close the coffin 

"so what now?"i asked

"now we go upstaires and contiune our work"he said with a smirk

"i would love than"i said than he carry me and vampsped upstairs

the next day at school

it was caroline birthday , i walked to her locker and saw elena and bonnie there

"Hello"i said

"what does klaus wants?"Elena asked 

"Nothing i just came to put the gift in the locker"i said 

"i though we are your enemy"Bonnie said

"Damon is my enemy and you"i said pointing at elena

"Me"elena said

"yeah you knew that damonkilled my uncle and didn't tell me"i said

"you didn't knew about the supernatural world"she said

"actually i knew but i didn't knew that there vampires , but its still batrayl elena"i said than opened caroline's locker and put the gift inside and left

"i am here"i said entering klaus's mansion 

"good what do you think of the mansion so far?"he asked

"it's good but our's is bigger than yours"i said with a smirk

"you mocking me alex"he said i laughed he smiled 

"I'm surprised you're still in town. I gave you your freedom, you could have gone anywhere."klaus said to someone standing behind me 

i turn around to look it was stefan  he was leaning against the doorframe 

"I live here, Klaus."stefan said

"Well, if we're playing this game, then...I was here first."klaus said

"he gave you your freedom why didn't you ran away idiot"i said he looked at me than looked back at klaus

"You know, I don't like your hybrid friends. They're everywhere, kind of like fleas. I want them gone."stefan said

"ouch stefan i thought we were friends"i said

"we are not , so i want all your hybrids gone"he said

" Yeah, well I kind of like having them around. You know, I'm hurt. I hoped that when I freed you, we'd pick up where we left off. But here you are, guzzling vervain like the rest of them, I'm sure. So much for friendship."klaus said

" Friends don't strip friends of their free will."stefan said

"Okay, granted, yeah, that was a little extreme, but I get a little moody. Just ask my siblings. Speaking of whom, isn't it time you handed them over?"klaus said

"Klaus, get your hybrids out of Mystic Falls or I will remove them myself."stefan said

"Hmm. You see, if you continue to threaten me, I'm gonna be forced to retaliate. Kill people. And it will get messy again."klaus said

"Do whatever you want, I don't really care. Or you know what? Maybe I do. Maybe I care so much, that I'll drop Elijah in the Arctic."stefan said

"do that and you will lose your brother the asshole"i said

"Try me, let's find out."Stefan said than mindy walks in

"Is everything okay?"she said

"Everything is fine, Mindy. Stefan was just leaving after failing to make his point."klaus said

Stefan waits a moment, grabs a saw from the work table he's next to, rushes over to Mindy and cuts her head clean off with it.

"Well, one down. You may want to, ah, send the rest of them away before it gets messy, again. and if you didn't do that alex's head gonna be next"stefan said than he throws the saw back on the table and leaves
