Catastrophic Love (Black butler x Reader)

Chapter 2

~Third POV~

        The ride to Phantomhive Manor was silent, filled with lots of awkward glances, Ciel mumbling incoherent words, Y/N looking out the window to avoid eye contact and Sebastian driving the carriage.  Finally, they arrive and Y/N stares in awe at the beauty of the well kept manor.  As the carriage stops; Sebastian leaps off to assist the passengers out.  Sebastian helps Ciel out of the carriage, then before he can help Y/N out she hops out; landing on her feet while starting to walk towards the entrance. Sebastian smirks at her different behaviour and Ciel scoffs.  Suddenly a loud bang is heard from the side of the manor.  

       "They're at it again." Sebastian says in a low exasperated tone. 

         Ciel turns to look at Y/N only to see she's vanished.

       "Sebastian it appears the guest has disappeared, go see what mess they've made this time and find her.  I'll be in my study." Ciel says.

       "Very well, my lord." Sebastian bows, then darts off to deal with whatever disaster has happened in the manor.

~Y/N POV~ 

        As soon as I heard the crash, I ran into the manor towards the smell of smoke. The direction in which I presume to be the kitchen. Entering the room my presumptions are confirmed that it is indeed the kitchen. Stepping further in, I see three peculiar looking people.  One is a female who is in a maid's uniform and is wearing large glasses.  I can't tell much of her features as she's on the floor sobbing, and being covered in flour and soot. It appears that the soot is from the oven and that it exploded somehow. I then turn my attention over at the young-looking boy, who is shorter than me and covered head to toe in black charcoal.  The other is a man, taller than me with a cigarette hanging from his mouth and he's holding a............. BLOWTORCH!!??!!

      "Uh... crazy sir? Can you please put down the blowtorch before you cause another explosion." I say worried. Said man and the others flinch upon hearing my words; it seems none of them noticed me when I entered the room. 

       "Holy-- at least you're not Sebas--" The blowtorch man starts to say before...

       "Ahem~ You called Baldroy?" Sebastian suddenly appears with a smug yet somewhat terrifying look on his face. 

       I guess crazy fire man is named Baldroy? 

      "Sebastian, I told Finny this was a bad idea." Baldroy (crazy fire man) said.

       "Wha- I was the one that told you Sebastian doesn't like when you bring tha-that thing into the kitchen!" The other male servant, Finny replied while he started shaking and tears welled up in his eyes.  I feel a bit bad for him, fire man just blamed him and Sebastian doesn't seem like the forgiving type.  Why would he, he is a demon after-all. 

       "Regardless of who started it, you all played a part in it.  Now, as you can see we have a guest, and you've made quite the first impression of how Phantomhive servants act. It is time to correct that. Finny go back to gardening, Mey-Rin clean yourself up and continue your work, and Baldroy put that nuisance away.  I shall clean up the kitchen and prepare supper." The moment Sebastian finished directing everyone they all scurried off.  For some reason Baldroy decided to wink at me on his way out. This guy winked!! At me!? Baldroy seems interesting and oddly charming to say the least.  Since Sebastian gave me nothing to do I immediately begin cleaning the kitchen. 

~Sebby's POV~ 

       Why is she helping me? She never ceases to amaze me in this short amount of time.
