It was a quiet night in Los Angeles, there was nothing, no cars, no people, no noises. It was unsettling as the cold air ran against my face, I knew something was off. I whipped around my head and saw him, walking towards me. We haven't talked since the last time we saw each other, at a party. By the time I snapped out of my thought induced trance I saw him happily talking to me. I chuckled a little internally as I realize he didn't notice the fact that I wasn't paying attention he would be able to have a conversation with a wall.
"What do you want Jones?" I seetherd through my teeth, now wasn't the time for this.
"I just you walking by and I wanted to say hi Robert, you've been acting strange lately whats up?" Jones said as if questioning every bone in my body. I had a couple of brief flashbacks to the party, the memories took over me for a second, as if they were a fire and my body was a forest.
"What do you mean Jones, I thought that out of everyone you would know best." I was starting to get a little angry at this point, as I said that I saw something click in Jones's head.
"Robert, I'm sorry, just forgive me already." God it's been ages why won't you just forgive me already Robert, Jones thought to himself. The party was a night both of them wanted to forget.
"Sorry isn't going to fix it Jones, you know what happened, you knew it was going to happen, and you said nothing to me." I looked over at him one last time before finishing the walk to my flat, I just left to get some things from the Mini Mart, why did it have to go into this big thing. I fumbled with the keys to unlock the flat door, once it opened I realized it could use a little fixer upper as things were messoly scattered around at the moment. I went around to pick up a couple things and put them back in place I'm to tired to finish this right now I'll do it later. I walked over to the pullout couch and fell on it, I relaxed as I felt sleep take over.

I found myself at a different place, in a different time, with different people. I saw people dancing to the beat and swinging their hips. I knew what this was and I wanted out. I was back at the night that I lost her. The night that I lost my only sister. I scanned the bar to see if Clarissa was there I refuse to lose her again.
