Yeoreum's POV

*dukk!!*

"Ouch" is all I can say after I fell down from the couch. I frowned once I realised that I slept in the living room. Suddenly I remembered about yesterday's events and sighed. I took my phone to look what time is it.

My eyes widen because I'm late! LATE! I only have 30 minutes left before the classes start. I quickly stood up and ran to the bathroom. I wear my grey school uniform and tied my hair into a ponytail. I took my school bag and straight to appa's room. I slowly opened the door and found him sleeping peacefully.

I walked towards him and kissed his forehead. "I'm going to school appa." I whispered to him and smile. I ran towards downstairs and grabbed my shoes. "I'm going to make it if I run." I said to myself after finishing wearing my shoes.

I started to ran as fun as I could. I didn't care about the stares from the peoples. I was running while looking down at my wrist where I wore my watch to see how many minutes left. I only have 15 minutes left. 'I have to run faster' I said to myself. Once I look back up, I bumped into someone.

'I'm dead'

I ended up being on top of the person while our face were a few centimeters away. My cheeks turned red as it was a boy. My heart beats faster because of this closeness. I never been this close to a boy. I quickly stood up and helped him up. I apologized almost hundreds time but he gave me the coldest look and stay quiet.

'I think he's deaf' I thought.

I put both of my hand together and bowed to him before I continued running. I only have 10 minutes left. I ran until I reached the school gate. I sighed in relief as I made it. I look at my watch. 'Great! 6 minutes left but I am here!' I smile as I walked past the school gate.

I quickly went to my classroom and the class was loud as usual. Once I walked in, all the students stop doing what they do and looked at me for a second and continued what they're doing. I spot my girls and went towards them.

"Hey," I smile.

They smile back. Soyoung stood up and hugged me tightly. "My dear Yeoreum! We thought you we're not going to school today!" She said excitedly and immediately broke the hug and looked at me with a disgust look. "What's with the look!?" I shouted and hit her arm playfully.

"Why are you so sweaty?" She asked.

"Aaah, it's because I ran from home to school haha." I rubbed the back of my neck awkwardly. "Why did you run?" Hyemin asked. "It's because she's late. Am I right?" Raehyung said while raising her eyebrow to me. "Haha she knows me well." I laughed awkwardly as I sit beside her.

"So, why didn't you go to school yesterday?" Minju asks while resting her head on her hand. "I got a fever." I simply answered. They nodded and the teacher came in. We all back to our seats and bowed to the teacher. And the class started.

"Guys, hurry up! I'm starving!" Jieun cried. "Can you just be patient? It's not like the cafeteria will run away." Hyemin rolled her eyes and walked beside Minju. "She's not afraid if the cafeteria will run away. She's just afraid if there's no food left in the cafeteria. You know, the workers at the cafeteria are lazy to cook so many food." Soyoung laughed as all of us are.

We took our food and find our seats. "Over there!" Minju pointed at the empty table which is besides a group of boys' table. "Why it has to be beside them?" I groaned. "It's the only seats we have. Do you want to eat on the floor?" Hyemin said to me as I pouted.
