Kawaii~Chan POV

I rushed over to get Lucinda but all that I could say about what happened didn't make much sense.
"Lucinda! Zane's bleeding!" I jump up and down making sure that her attention is only on me.
"HE CUT HIMSELF AGAIN!?" Lucinda jumped off of her chair looking angry and panicked.
"No, he fell through a window in his dream!" I know it sounded stupid but what else was I supposed to say?
Lucinda, Garroth and I rushed to Zane who was staring at his cuts which were oozing black liquid.
"What happened?" Lucinda got some more bandages and wrapped up his arms.
"I had a dream and I smashed through a window and I started bleeding and when I woke up I had cuts on my arm!" Zane was freaked out.
I sat him down on the bed and gave him a hug, "You're going to be OK."
How much time do I have left?
"Kawaii~Chan, Garroth, can I speak to you to outside for a minute please?" Lucinda walked out of the room and brought Aphmau to take care of him.
Garroth and I walked out of the room and met Lucinda out in the hallway.
"This is getting more serious by the day," Lucinda went straight to the point, "Kawaii~Chan, how much progress have you made?"
"Kawaii~Chan's getting closer to him, it's just a matter of time," I said.
"Time is the only thing we don't have Kawaii~Chan!" Lucinda shouted.
"Lucinda!" Garroth raised his voice at her.
"I'm trying Lucinda! I care about him a lot and I'm doing all that it takes to protect him and shield him from harm," I took a deep breath and breathed out.
What if I can't do it? What if Zane dies?
"I'm going to make some cupcakes for Zane to make him feel better, Garroth do you want to help?" I avoided looking at Lucinda, she can be so annoying at times.
Garroth nodded and followed me to the kitchen. I pulled out the ingredients and started pouring things into a big mixing bowl.
"Do you think Zane'll be OK?" Garroth asked adding in the eggs.
"I hope so," I sighed, "I can't imagine life without Zane's sarcasm and dark humor."
Garroth chuckled, "He thought it was great when he kept spawn killing me in a game we use to play."
I laughed, "That sounds like something Zane would do."
Behind the laughter I was worried. Zane's life all depends if I can get him to love me.

A/N Sorry for not writing in this book for awhile and for the short chapter. Since I finished my other Fanfic only 2 fanfics are being worked on so I'll have more time to work on this.
