Drew Imagine for Janette

You looked down at your phone. "New message from Drew"! You squealed. The text message read, "Hey Janette you wanna hang out?" Drew has been your crush since like forever. You had barely started talking with him a few weeks ago.
You waited 4 minutes before answering because you didn't want to seem desperate, but in reality you were jumping up and down in your bedroom.
"Sure", you replied slyly.
You got a response nearly instantly.
"Great you wanna meet up at the park that's by you're house?" Drew asked. Drew knew where you lived because he'd seen you walking home from school.
"Yeah that's fine. You want me to bring anything?" You replied.
"Nah I got you covered" he texted.
"Ok see you in 15?" You responded.
"Yup", Drew said.
You changed out of your pajamas into some black shorts and a white ruffled tank top. You put your hair into a high ponytail and you headed out the door. You walked since the park was only like 5 minutes away. You met Drew there sitting at a bench. He had a blanket and a picnic basket.
"Hey Drew, what's all this?" you asked.
"I packed us a little picnic", he replied with a cute smile.
He unfolded the blanket in the middle of the lawn and set the basket in the center of the blanket.
"Come, sit" he said tapping the blanket next to him.
You say across from him.
"I packed some of my mom's special pasta, some watermelon slices, and some cheesecake.
"You really thought this through huh!" You said with a laugh.
"Yeah kinda", Drew said with a shy smile looking down.
"That's really nice you" you said sincerely.
Drew handed a small Tupperware container with his mom's special pasta primavera and a fork.
"Mmm this is really good", you said covering your mouth with a napkin.
"My mom is an amazing cook and so is my brother" Drew said. "I'm the only one in my family who is incapable of cooking anything" he laughed.
You laughed with him.
Once you were finished eating you roamed around the entire park.
"Do you know what I've noticed?" Drew asked.
"What" you replied.
"You blush a lot over small things", Drew said with big smile.
"Do I," you asked embarrassed. You were blushing again. You could feel it this time.
"It's super adorable though" he said laughing.
You looked up at him and let out a small laugh.
"Listen, Janette, I want to ask you something", Drew said.
"Yeah", you asked.
"So I've been thinking a lot about you lately and I was wondering...umm.. I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend", he asked. This time he was blushing.
"Yes", you said hugging him tightly.
He laughed and hugged you back.
A million things were racing through your mind. "Is this a dream", "this can't be true". But it was real and you couldn't be happier.
