Yoongi bought their tickets and they had been there for about an hour. Jimin had gone on many of the rides, making jimin feel extremely happy. Jimin decided to walk around himself, ignoring the slight pain it caused. He didn't even notice it with how fun he was having. Yoongi had bought all the cotton candy and snacks jimin had wanted as well as winning stuffed animals and prizes he wanted, that including a huge teddy bear that sat in the back seat of yoongi's car along with all the others.
The fair would be closing soon but one ride continued to catch jimin's attention.
The roller-coaster.
It had lots of scary looking loops ans twist and turns and jimin was fairly afraid to ride it but he had never been on one and figured he was gonna go on one anyways.
"Yoongi?~" jimin said softly looking up at him as he walked with yoongi, hugging his arm. Yoongi replied with a soft hum as he looked down at jimin.
"Can we go on the roller-coaster?" He asked. He pointed to the roller-coaster, watching as the car made it around a loop. People's screams audible.
"You wanna go on that?" Yoongi asked with slight concern in his voice. "I dont want to you to get scared."
"Please hyung?~" jimin pouted, pulling on yoongi's sleeve. Yoongi sighed softly in defeat. "Pleaseee?~"
"Alright.. fine. But when you get scared dont make me say i told you so." Yoongi said, telling himself he would not grow sympathetic for him.
Jimin rolled his eyes, a wide smile on his face as he grabbed yoongi's hand and began to try and pull yoongi. Yoongi sighed and began to walk with jimin. They got to the roller-coaster and jimin waited impatiently in the fairly short line. There weren't a lot of people there since the fair would be closing soon.
Soon enough the car came back and the line was short enough for them to be able to get on it. Jimin got on excitedly, yoongi getting on after him. He strapped himself in and made sure jimin was as well.
The car soon began to slowly move, making jimin feel all happy and giddy. Yoongi shook his head slightly, the corners of his mouth turned up into a smirk. The car began to slowly go up, getting ready for one of the first but very subtle drop offs. Jimin giggled as it reached the top and began to roll down the small hill, going slightly faster. It went up a much steeper hill to finally get the car going at a good speed. As it reached the top Jimin had a naive smile across his face. It began to quickly roll down, causing jimin to let out a scream as he held on tightly to the black and padded bar He was strapped in with, quickly realizing that he did not like this ride. The car had took a sharp turn and jimin saw up ahead, a loop. Jimin closed his eyes shut as they welled up with tears.
Yoongi looked over at him, sighing as he felt sympathetic for the younger boy. Yoongi slapped himself mentally, realizing that he told himself he would not feel sympathetic for him. As the car neared closer to the loop yoongi realized he couldn't just ignore the fact that jimin was scared. He reached over and grabbed jimin's hand, it being the best he could do strapped in like that.
Jimin continued to hold his eyes shut as the car went around the loop, he didn't scream nor let out a whimper. Instead he just held his eyes shut, crying softly.
After a few more hills, twists and turns in the tracks, the ride had ended. It took jimin a second to notice that yoongi had begun to unbuckle him from the seat of the car. Jimin opened one eye to peak at yoongi and opened his other one,tears still spilling from them. Yoongi sighed and picked up jimin and jimin layed his head on his shoulder, sobbing quietly.
Yoongi began to walk through all the people to the entrance of the fair, jimin in his arms. Jimin sniffled softly into the crook of yoongi's neck. Yoongi walked out of the fair and to his car, opening the passenger side door and placing jimin into the seat. He buckled his seatbelt for him and closed his door. Jimin reached to the back seat and grabbed a stuffed unicorn yoongi had won for him. He looked at it, pondering what he would name it. He suddenly had the name "rainbow" pop up into his mind, even if this unicorn had no rainbows on him at all.
Yoongi got in and started the car, smiling as he saw jimin playing with one of the stuffed animals he had won for him.
"I named him rainbow," jimin smiled. Yoongi chuckled and pulled out of the parking lot of the fair.
Yoongi began to drive to his house, taking peaks at jimin every now and then, smiling as he saw him playing with all the stuffed animals.
Eventually, yoongi saw jimin put them all in the back seat, except for the unicorn he had named "rainbow" He cuddled the unicorn, leaning against the car door and closing his eyes. Yoongi smiled softly and continued to drive.
