Chapter Six

Miley POV

I looked at Justin playing shooting games and thought of what happened so far today.

He called me sweetheart and a fine lady in a day. He mentioned a date although it is not the fancy kind. Most importantly, he initiated the holding of hands.

I am certainly on cloud nine!

“Sweetie, this is for you. I won this one huge teddy bear, only for you to keep. No one else can. “ he waved the teddy bear front of my face to make me come back to present.

I held the teddy bear that is practically covering my view, “ thank you Justin I really like it. “

“On second thought, let me help you hold it first. You might probably have a hard time walking if you’re holding it. “ Justin took the bear from me with one hand and his other hand interlocking with my hand.

Justin POV

I held Miley’s hand and head towards the park, trying to find a bench to sit.

Finally we settle down and I sit down trying to face her.

“ How’s today? The carnival? Everything!” I focus into her eyes.

Miley POV

I tell Justin what I felt so far about today. I am actually feeling nervous as he really look deeply in me.

I was not sure what else to converse about so I keep quiet. And hugged my teddy bear.

The cool night breeze swarm in and swaying the leafs. Silence filled the night air, only the sound of our breathing and falling leafs.

Justin came in closer, diminishing the gap between them. He placed his arm on Miley’s shoulder and came in with a kiss on her cheek. Justin whispered, “ I had a great time today, I hope you did too. I’m falling more in love with you. “ And he came in pecking on Miley’s neck. Gradually, Miley gave in and return the kisses and making out. For quite a while. The park was surprisingly quiet.

Justin dropped her off right front of Miley’s porch to assure she is safe. The both of them had a quick shower and doze off. Unfortunately, the next day is MONDAY.
