Dear journal,

My heart was beating like a marching drum when we kissed,

But I wake up,

I let out a breath,

But I want to forget tomorrow is gonna come around,

I told you I loved you,

My heart didn't wait any more,

My heart didn't rest until it came out,

You didn't care.

You must of been having fun when you broke my heart into 24,

Our kiss was just a lie,

Our feelings were lies,

Our brain were blind,

Our love was a Lie.

Love is not a game.

My dad says life is like blades of grass,

We find in time we just wither away,

I always took my time to dream, breath, and imagine,

Mom says to keep the closest friends close and they provide the best advice,

I've grown, I'm not a know-It-All but I don't know enough,

So hear me scream. I was too young to know what it means...

But now I know.

Sincerely,
Nightingale
