My Heart torn in Two

Prologue

Elizabeth couldn't believe that after just a year since Lucky had returned home from having been kidnapped by Helena and then brainwashed into doing her dirty work as a way to get back at his father for killing her first born son. Only to now have him back 6 months later and him not wanting to go back to the way things were before he had been kidnapped not to mention him telling her repeatedly to go and be with his older brother but that wasn't what she wanted. So, that was when she and Sonny had picked up their friendship back and started spending time together.

She had already moved on with her life with someone who everyone thought was too old for her but she didn't care because as long as they had each other that's all that mattered.

They soon arrive at Harborview Towers getting off of the elevator as Sonny reaches out his hand for her to take.

Elizabeth smiles at him as she reaches out and takes his hand in hers as he leads her off of the elevator and towards his penthouse. Sonny guides her towards the penthouse and unlocks the door.

''Ladies first.''

Elizabeth walks into the penthouse and gasps to see it fully decorated in pink and red roses along with scented candles all around.

''Sonny, you didn't have to go to all of this just for me?''

Sonny stands in the doorway watching her reaction before he closes and locks the door before he makes his way towards her wrapping his arms around her waist before he leans in and kisses her softly on her neck.

''Of course. I thought that given everything that you have been through in the last several months that you deserved a night to be taken care of. Instead of you being the one taking care of everybody else ahead of herself. And that's what I intend to do that is if you want this friendship to be more all you have to do is tell me and we'll take it slow, okay, but if you're If not then I completely understand. It can wait. There's no rush. I love you. I don't want you to feel like I'm in a hurry or anything. I just want you to know that I care about you more than anything and that when the time is right for us to take our relationship to the next level we will. I enjoy spending time together and I'm not going anywhere.''

Elizabeth turns around so she can face him.

''I love you, too and this is exactly where I want to be. I want to see where our relationship can go. Sonny, your the man of my dreams. I can't wait to see where the future takes us.''

Sonny smiles at her before he leans in and kisses her lips as his hands slowly start to roam all over her body while her hands do the same as they roam all over his.

A while later Elizabeth soon pulls back from kissing him as she strokes his face before she starts to unbutton his shirt.

''Why, don't we take this upstairs?''

Sonny gives her a look while still holding her in his arms for a few more minutes before he goes and gets her out of her blouse.

''Are you sure?''

Elizabeth leans in and kisses him before she pulls back.

''I'm sure. Sonny, I trust you and I want to know you and have you know me.''

Sonny smiles at her before he leans in and gently picks her up bridal style and carries her upstairs towards his master bedroom.
