Okay so on the first book.
The chapter where Addison calls Shawn an alien is a joke.
I LOVE CANADIANS!!!
I didn't think the joke was "racist" but apparently it is.
So um any jokes like that mentioned in the book or this book isn't angled for racism.
Please don't get ass hurt over something like that.
Like even the Canadians who commented thought it was funny.
Don't take offense to it when there isn't any to be taken.
