Chapter 2

(Ava's p.o.v)

I woke up with a start as I changed to my regular clothing and headed to the kitchen where Tessa was making breakfast.

"Morning Tessa." I greeted.

"Morning Ava." She greeted as she hands me a plate of pancakes.

"Thanks." I thanked as I ate the pancakes.

Then suddenly are robo dog started barking. Tessa sighs as she walked to the door. "I'll be right back." She said.

I finished eating my pancakes so I putted my dish in the sink. As I was washing the dishes I started to think about the truck the other day, something about it makes me feel safe yet unease.

"Why bother Ava, all you can do is do nothing. Your worthless." My demon said to me.

I started to cry a bit before Tessa called me. "Ava!" "Coming!!" I called back as I wipe my tears and walked to the barn where Tessa called me. We along with Lucas walked to the barn. Tessa yelled;

"Dad!"

"Coming!" He replied.

"Are you working with lasers?" She asked as we waited at the door of the barn. "If so I'm not coming in along with Ava!"

Papa opened the door excited. "You guys have never seen a truck like this before get in here!" He said and we went inside. "Lock that door!!"

"Doesn't have a lock." Lucas said as he closed the door behind him.

Papa then shows us a part of metal with a hole in it. "Look at that hole in the radiator, look at the size of it!" He saids walking to the truck. "Something blow a hole in it!!"

"Yeah so?" Lucas asked.

"It's not normal steel, the strapmle in the engine, it ripped all the connections a part!!" Papa said. "And watch, this took some K genius!" He walks a power engine as me and Tessa watch this happen in are eyes.

"Here we go again." Tessa mumbled. I just smiled, I like how Papa still try's it's just a times it takes way too far.

"Ava, you are going to love this!" Papa says to me. "Wanna hook this up with a working battery?!" He injects two wire cables to the battery as the truck roared to life with its lights turned on.

"Calling all..(static)..,Calling all Autobots...(static)!" It said. My eyes widened at this as well as Tessa and Lucas but theirs were from fear.

"Oh yeah, I don't think it's a truck at all," Papa said removing the wire cables. "I think we just found a transformer."

I gasped at that. 'A-a transformer?!' I thought. 'How can it- err he be a transformer?'

"Tran.... Evacuate!!" Lucas yelled as he and Tessa ran outside. "Hey!" Papa said chasing after them. "Ava stay here, Guys!!!" He told while he was running.

I nodded as I walked up to the truck, I put my hand on the front of the truck. I heard yelling outside but I quickly ignore it. Then what felt like 3 minuets they came back inside as Papa was working with the truck.

"Beside you used my money to buy the truck right?!" Lucas protested. "So technically, it's my truck. Don't you think?"

"You also sign a contract, regarding all research lab I.P." Papa told him.

"Research lab?" Lucas repeated. "It's a barn dude."

Papa walks over to him and told him that since he signed it Papa owns him and the truck, which makes me confused. I walked over to Tessa as Papa and Lucas start working.
