Y'all it's been LONG. I lost interest in wattpad but it's currently 12am so fuck it. Idek if people will read this but here

I laid at the edge of the pond, watching as butterflies occasionally flew over and dragonflies land on the water momentarily. A soft sigh of content escaped my lips, and I closed my eyes. The one place that felt like heaven, where I could simply relax and brush all of my worries away. The only animals that pass through here are squirrels and birds, really. Not one human knew about this place, and that's what made me feel safe, calm and relaxed ! I come to the same secret place almost every day. Either to get something I need or when I need some time to myself.

I opened my eyes again and sat up slowly. I rubbed my tired eyes, not wanting to fall asleep there. A plump robin stood near curiously. With a giggle, I waved and it cocked its head. Then I stared at my reflection in the water. Long black hair, green eyes and pale skin. I smiled, but didn't move away just yet.

Just before I was going to lay down again, I saw movement within the water. I squinted. A fish, possibly ? No. Couldn't have been. The whole pond looked as if it were shaking ever so slightly. Birds chirping became louder, and when I looked up I spotted several flying away from the area. Why? That's when it too reached my ears.

A human. I could tell from the rhythmic thumps that it was walking. I looked up, as I heard them getting closer. No biggie.. right ? I turned and made my way as fast as I could towards the nearest tree. There were trees all around it, with vines hanging loosely from the entrance and some brambles covering the small waterfall that led into the pond.

Soon enough, the human appeared. I felt my heart drop, and I stayed hidden behind the tree. Why was he here ? How did he manage to even find it ?? Those vines were practically invisible from the outside. He slowly approached the water, and stared down at it. "This is stupid. Im looking for something that's probably not even real.. 'tiny people'. Jesus Christ, I'm gullible.", he said, kicking a rock into the water. Was he.. talking about me? Most likely.

I couldn't stay as much as I wanted to. I turned to run, but was stopped by a small bird. Large compared to me. I couldn't tell exactly what kind of bird it was, but nonetheless it had quite the exquisite feathers. The top of its head blue, half of its brown wing blue and its tail feathers striped white, black and a little bit of blue too. It was mostly brown. It jumped forward, flapping its wings and I too jumped back. It kicked dirt towards me with a shriek. I tried not to get dirt in my eyes by shielding my face with my arm.

"Shoo! Shoo! Get away from her!", a loud male voice boomed. "Go on, get outta here !". The bird shrieked again and I heard it take off.

There was silence.

Until I heard a soft whisper, "oh my god. She's so tiny.. they were right...". I slowly removed my arm from my face and when I did my breath hitched. A much larger face was above me, staring down at me with wide blue eyes. I could most definitely see the human better now.. messy blonde hair, blue eyes and a lip piercing.

I quickly got back on my feet, just about to take off as fast as that bird until I was lifted into the air. "No! Please don't leave..!", he said, and it was him picking me up. My breath only quickened, and I felt as though I was going to pass out. This was horrible.

He brought me up near his face, but he still looked down at me and I looked up at him. "I don't wanna hurt you.. please don't run..", he murmured. "Okay..?". I could only silently nod, and he placed me back on the ground. I have to play along so that I can leave. He wasn't going to let me go so easily, that's for sure...

Am sorry, I'm tired. So I ended it with a cliff hanger which idk if I'll be continuing.. aCK. I got super bored and came on here again. Who knows, maybe I'll be active again.
