The next day at school, I of course wore my new outfit, I walked down the hall with my curly hair in a top knot. I stared at my phone thinking about what I was going to do at lunch. "Hey," said a confident, charming voice, I looked up and saw the same emerald eyes as Gabe.

"Hi Gabe!" I said as my fingers twisted within themselves.

"So I saw you at the mall the other day..." he trailed off as I looked down at the floor and my cheeks blushed the colors of roses, and I tucked my hair behind my ear. "You do that a lot you know?"

"Do what?" I asked hoping I wouldn't be humiliated by my crush.

"You always look down and tuck your curly hair behind your ear," I quick glanced up, and smiled at him, and he flashed me his crooked smile that drives me insane, "You know you don't always have to be so nervous around me, if anything I;m the one that should be nervous right now."

"Oh mu gosh, I swear I wasn't being weird at the mall I jus-" I rambled.

"No don't worry, I came over here to ask you if you'd want to go ice skating." He said showing that toothy side smile again.

"Wait, seriously? Did someone dare you?" I questioned.

"No, I don't think you ever knew this but, that day at the mall I couldn't take my eyes off of you, you looked really nice," he began to chuckle. And me, being the awkward person I was I just stood there gawking at him.

"I-you-you-yo- you're being serious? I would love to go iceskating with you!" *I began blushing even worse now* and I began giggling.

"See you then." he smiled, he turned away with his hand in his pockets. I yanked my phone from my jeans and told Kasey everything.
