"Sophie wake up!" Mom whispered.
"What's going on mom?" I asked while rubbing my eyes.
It's raining outside, I saw the lightning from the window of the room. I looked at the clock and it's already past 12 midnight. My mom looked so worried, I can feel her shaking. Something's wrong. My mom grabbed my hand and I followed her to the closet.
"Stay here baby, please whatever happens don't make any noise, and don't go out. I Love you so much. Mom and dad love you sophie." Mom told me while she's sobbing.
My mom closed the door of the closet. I can see my mom through the hole.
I don't know what's going on but, I followed what she said. I sat in the closet hugging my knees. Something was definitely wrong. I'm so scared, my knees were shaking.
Then suddenly I heard the thunder, after that the place went silent. I looked through the hole and I saw my mom opening the door of the room.
*BANG*
My mom fell on the floor and she's covered with blood. I don't know what to do, I saw a figure of a man wearing all black, his face was covered by a mask. I can't stop sobbing, I think he heard me. HE'S COMING!!
*RING RING RING*
It was a bad dream. I'm catching my breath when I woke up. This is the third time that I had that dream. I sighed. I got up from my bed and stared at myself from the mirror. My brown eyes are now bloodshot from my tears because of that dream. I stand up to get my hairbrush to brush my wavy long brown hair. I fixed my room then went and walked downstairs. I saw my mom preparing our breakfast.
"Good morning sweetie. How was your sleep?" she asked.
I told her about my dream, describing everything that happened. I can see through the look on her face that she's shocked.
"Mom, is there something wrong?" I asked her.
She took a deep breath and she sat in front of me.
"Listen, It's time for you to know about your family." she looked so serious. I stayed silent.
My mom continued to speak "Your parents and I were friends. It's really hard to explain but we became friends inside the organization that your family runs. Your dad was the Chairman of the Organization, his name is Louise Parker, and your mom Amanda Parker, is the co-chairman."
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
"Listen to me first, Sophie. Your parents is one the most successful and powerful people in US. The organization is called EXA ORG. It helps people in need in many ways. So because of being the head, there are many threats on their position and their lives were at risk because of it. Your parents choose not to tell you anything until you're old enough. Mr. and Mrs Williams wanted to take over the organization. Your dream was not just a dream, it happened in the past, on the night when your parents were killed by these people."
I can't contain all the things that she told me. I have a lot of questions but I can't name it one by one. My eyes were starting to get teary, it seems like I'm about to cry. I can't take it, so I walked out.
I locked myself in my room the whole day. I want to forget everything that she told me. It's too much! I sneaked out of the house at night wearing a tank top and a skinny jeans. Even though the weather is not good, I decided to go to a bar to drink.
I ordered a lot of drinks, this is my first time drinking alone. I didn't notice the time and the drinks that I have taken. I'm starting to feel dizzy but, I just keep on drinking.
