Beauty

            Watching Darlene was entertaining because she was beautiful. She had gorgeous red hair, beautiful green eyes, and always looked stunning. She was also so young. So much youth and beauty just waiting to be taken away.

"Do you want your hair wavy or curled?" Leila inquired. Stormy shook her head and suggested, "How about poofy?"

Leila frowned and asked, "What about an updo?"

Stormi shook her head and then her face lit up as she said, "Oh! We could do like an updo and leave a couple curly strands hanging down!"

"We so should!" Leila exclaimed. Crystal looked at them, a look of disdain on her face, saying, "Probably not. It's just Dick guys."

"Yea, but it's your first date with him!" Leila exclaimed.

"And I know you're gonna want to jump on that. I mean, who wouldn't?" Stormi teased. She and Leila laughed and Crystal said, "I'm going with my hair down, hot red dress, red pumps, and dangling earrings. And let's not forget my tiny necklace that will keep him distracted while he's...distracted." She said the last part with a wink and her sisters giggled. They were standing in front of a large mirror inside the attic.

"Do you even know where you're going?" Leila asked.

"It's supposed to be a surprise," she replied, shaking her head no. She then got up and walked downstairs, yelling "Wish me luck!" As she walked down the steps, she grinned as Dick gaped at her.

"You loo—" he started.

"I know." Crystal joked, cutting him off. She grabbed his hand and started out the door. "Don't wait up!" she yelled back at her sisters.

Dick had taken Crystal to a fancy local restaurant. They laughed, ate, and talked, overall having a great date. After dinner, he took her out for ice cream nearby. Joking, he stared at Crystal and took a lick of his ice cream. She grinned, rolling her eyes. He smiled back and took another lick, staring at her ontensely. Crystal flirtatiously batted her eyelashes and asked, "Are you trying to imply something?"

He smirked and lowered his ice cream. "So, why are you here?" Dick asked.

Crystal frowned and angrily mumbled, "You're the one who asked me out." "

That's not what I meant!" Dick quickly explained. "I mean, I never really visited your mansion, but I heard it was amazing. I just don't understand why you'd want to leave."

Crystal smiled and said, "It was time for a change, and Grandmother needed help. So, we moved."

Dick grinned and said, "I'm glad you did,' causing crystal to blush a look away, a small smile on her face.

The two of them then heard a scream. They ran towards the scream and found an old woman on the ground. "Help!" she croaked. Dick looked up and saw two figures running into an alley.

"Stay here with her!" he ordered Crystal. "I'll be right back!" By then, a group of people had surrounded them. Crystal left the woman with one of the people who had crouched down to help, and she ran after Dick. When she ran into the alley, she found a group of men behind Dick. They were all facing another group. Crystal frowned when she saw that they were demons. One demon threw a fireball and the humans screamed. Dick, stood there helplessly, frozen in shock.
