Chapter 6- Charity Ball 3

Kylie's P. O. V

I told Chris the whole story from the top to the bottom, he was laughing by the time I ended the story. I felt like beating that laugh out of him, I don't even understand what's funny.

"You call yourself one of the most popular celebrities but you don't know the most popular bachelor in our country. The great Jax Hermit Novoa, I just can't believe your story with the hottest bachelor" he said after laughing.

"See, I'm pretty occupied with my job. I can't be putting his face in my head, let's close this matter. I have to worry about my future date" I said with a smirk.

"Do you want me to bid so that we can hang out instead of wasting your time with some low lives around here" he gave me a worried look.

"No, don't worry about it. You'll be wasting your money and most of them have more money than you do. Just let me have fun" I said with a warm smile.

"I don't think you know me yet. Don't worry you'll find out later dear. I have to attend to something right now. Don't worry I'm not leaving yet"

"Alright then" I was pretty much confused by what he meant by he doesn't think I know him yet. He's my childhood friend of course I know him.

I was brought out of my thoughts by a handsome guy in a simple tuxedo. He looked amazing in it but not as amazing as Jax looked. Why am I thinking of Jax? 

"Is this seat taken" he asked with a very attractive smile.

"Yes it is actually taken by my date. He stepped out for a moment" I replied with my British accent. Yeah I'm British.

"Well I'll keep you company until he comes" he said as he sat down.

"I guess that's ok" I said with a face I usually give when I'm not comfortable.

"I'm Thomas West, CEO of West incorporations. May I know you?"

"I'm Kylie Miller, a model" I glanced around and saw Jax at a corner observing Thomas.

Thomas started talking about his business and I was getting bored of it. He's annoying me and I can't stand it anymore.

"Mr. West, would you please excuse me for a minute or more?" I asked politely.

"Sure, Miss Miller. Don't take too much time in the rest room" I will definitely take my time dear.

I was walking towards the rest room when I heard a voice from my side.

"I guess he bored you to death with his usual talk about business, I'm sorry about that. My best friend is like that, he is too full of himself" I turned and came eye to eye with Jax.

I was about to walk away when he talked.

"See I'm really sorry about everything that happened. I swear I didn't mean for it to happen. I was so interested in you and when you said you didn't believe in celebrity relationship, I couldn't tell you who I was. I swear I wanted to tell you. Baby, you have to believe me please"

I walked away when he was done. I know I'm acting like a bitch but I don't care about that. It's always good to say the truth at all time.

I came out of the restroom when I was done. I saw Chris just when I was around our seat. I quickly went to him and put my arms around him.

We proceeded to our seat, Thomas had already left the place, I couldn't find Jax anywhere too.

"Looking for lover boy? " Chris said while wagging his eyebrows at me. I ignored him.

"I understand you don't believe in celebrity relationship but I think you should give Jax a chance. He might be different from the type of man your dad is. Just try dear, think of it" he said before walking up the stage to give a welcome speech.

"That was an awesome speech Christopher" I said with a proud face.

"Thanks Kylie"

The programme was going extremely well, people were donating a lot of money. A lot of people donated over 1 million dollars. We have also made a lot of money, we can cancel the auction now.

I went to meet Axel to cancel the auction but he said the people have been waiting for it and there is no how we can just cancel it like that and that from there we can get ten times what we have gotten so far.

"Well we will like to invite the models who would be auctioned for a 24 hours date with the highest bidder for the last aspect of today's charity event" the manager announced.

He called us up and when we got there a lot of models were auctioned for $100,000 to $500,000. Axel was right when he said we would get ten times what we got.

When I was called for auction, people started bargaining. The money was very much so far. I was starting to fear.

An old man, a sassy billionaire, one of my exes, Denver and Jax were busy auctioning so as to get me on a date with them.

I'm so sure the old man wants to sleep with me as well as the sassy billionaire. Denver wants revenge on me so he might sexually assault me but there's only one person whose mind I don't know and that was Jax.

I looked into his eyes and saw that he seemed sorry and he didn't want me to end up with one of those guys.

"$15,000,000 going once, going twice and Kylie is auctioned for $15,000,000 to Mr Novoa for a 24 hours date and that concludes our charity ball tonight. Oh wait! The models auctioned have to dance with the men they were auctioned to" he announced.

I can't believe he bought me for a day. Well our date starts now and we have to dance. He started walking towards me.

"May I have this dance?"

"Sure"

"I'm really sorry Kylie and I would use my one day opportunity date to make it up to you I promise" he said with a smile and we kept on dancing.

By the end of the song we left for our date.

I hope you guys liked it. I'm very sorry for the late update, I had exams so I didn't have time.
