"You're breaking up with me?"
A voice that sounded so heartbreaking silenced the whole student body. Everybody was looking at the front of the cafeteria where a girl and a boy are having their break up publicly announced.
"I'm sorry, Diana. Things aren't just working out."
Plastic.
"Its Kayla. But its only been a day." By the sound of her voice, she could care less about him misnaming her own name. Who the hell misnames Diana for Kayla? Thats like two different syllables.
"Oh right, yeah. Bye Christina."
Kayla burst into tears, her friends came to hug and comfort her. They were all covering her, on the way to the exit and she was out of sight.
Another fall. Another girl. Another heartbreak.
"Ha. That's why I'm never going to fall again." I said with glee. Everyone just witnessed the scene and started minding their own business. I look at Nick, who was back to his jocks table, not caring a thing that a girl is currently crying Niagara Falls for him.
Mia Sinclaire; my best friend all my life, my waffles to my whipped cream, my pancakes to my syrup, my fudged brownie to my vanilla ice cream.. This is making me hungry. But you get the picture. She's my twin. And how she could ever be so supportive.
She looked at me as if I was putting Holy Water on vodka. "Really, Ade? This again?" She groaned aloud and bangs her head in the table. Continuously.
I sighed heavily. She thought I was playing some sick joke, but I really am completely serious about not falling in love. She hated it because she was on a head over heels relationship with Tyler Goode. Which is complete bonkers. They were the kind of couple that are a package deal. One isn't with the other.
But before I could've defend my dignity, Tyler and Nick come towards our table. It was such a picture perfect moment. It was as if everything else was blurry and they were the ones I see most clearly. Both of them had laidback outfits. Tyler was wearing a blue long sleeved plaid, cream khakis and sandals.
Nick was wearing a white v-neck and wash blue jeans that look like they were made especially for him.
A plus for the leather Vans.
So yeah, they basically looked like your modern Greek gods.
They strolled like they own the place, high fives on each side. Nick winks on a few girls. They swoon. Typical tool. They were like kings where commoners give way. For sure you want to hear what they look like, yes? Nick had dark brown tousled hair. He had these sea-green eyes that make you obey whatever he says. They were that beautiful. His body was the combination of a young Johnny Depp and a rugged Brad Pitt.
Tyler isn't any different. He also had a body of a perfect sculptured statue. He had black hair and baby blue eyes, the first thing Mia fell for.
Then his face.
Then his mouth.
