A Bird in the woods.

it is Halloween eve in Oakleaf and this is the worst time for Halloween especially for the Sheriffs office. it is also a nightmare for all parents of Oakleaf.  "Happy Halloween student. Sheriff Crawford and i would greatly advise you not go or have any Halloween parties, and if you do be extra careful." Said Principal Underwood. "So Zarik what are you doing tonight?" Asked Maddox. "I think im going to have a my friends over you can come as well if you want?" "Yea sure ill show up." "Great." the two friends  went to gym. "Hey Arianna." "What?" "DO you want to go to Zarik's Party?" "I guess if he asks us." "OK" said Mackenzie. the group of friends went to there two classes then met out side for lunch.  "So Zarik Arianna and i heard you are having a party?" "Nah its me and Maddox and a couple guys from the team that aren't complete dickheads. if you and Arianna want to come you can. " "OK what time?" "9:00"" OK see you there. the friend group sat there and talked about the party and there next classes, but before they could talk about anything else a voice called out. "Maddox!" Maddox looked up to see his dad. "Dad!?" Maddox got up and walked over to his dad. "where were you?" "We had some business in the north side with some Bratva's." "Oh." "Maddox there was some Bratva's that go here and they are making you a target and they are going to leave you for dead so the Mockingbird can kill you."  "how do you know this?" "Because i heard them last night they were in the woods. but i dont know who they are. so just keep an eye out." "I will." Maddox turned around to leave. "Hey Maddox dont go out tonight either." "Dad im going to Zarik's." "OK well here catch." said JT as he tossed his Knife to Maddox. "Use it if you have to." "OK." said Maddox as he turned around and walked away. "What was that about Maddox?" Asked Zarik. "Nothing have to go use the washroom."  Maddox walked into the bath room and pulled out the knife and looked at it. It was a black Switch blade and it had the Sons of Ragnarok logo on it, and on the inside there was a Little note it said "I have a gift ill give it to after school come home." Maddox put the knife and the note in his pocket and walked out of the bath room. ding ding. the bell rang and everyone walked inside and went to class the rest of the day was fine so it seemed but actually two Bratva's were stalking Maddox. the two were Logan king and Jayden MC. Maddox took the bus home. the bur ride took about an hour.  Maddox got home at 4:30 and his dad was actually home for once. "Im home." "Ah Maddox you got the note." "Yes." "here's your gift."  said JT as he handed Maddox a box. Maddox opened it up inside was a black leather jacket, and on the back it had the Sons of Ragnarok logo and name on it. "Dad what is this?" Maddox said confusedly. "son i want you to join the Sons with me." "Actually?" "Yes." "OK. hey dad im going to go to Zarik's for a party." "OK Be safe"  Said JT Maddox put in his head phones and started the fifteen minute walk to Zarik's.  Maddox has walked this rout a million time and everything has been ok , but this time would be different this time something sinister followed him. he was about five minutes away when he heard a sound. a loud engine running but it stopped. "Hey Ragnarok!!" yelled out a voice. Maddox turned his head to see just the out line of the man before getting hit in the head. he laid there for what felt like hours which was actually three minutes getting hit left and right. "Hey what are you doing to that poor kid!!?" yelled out Albert. Maddox stumbled up as the seven Bratva an and jumped into there car. even tho they were gone they weren't. they trailed behind Maddox following him. Maddox ran past the last five houses before running into Zarik's house. "Maddox you look like shit what happened?" Said Zarik. but before Maddox could answer there was a knock at the door. "Don't." said Maddox. "Why its the boyz and Arianna and Mackenzie. the five football players walked in. they sat around and talked and ate pizza. it was now 9:00 and all the trick or treaters were going home but not many came down where Zarik lived because his street was the one right beside the train tracks.  Bang Bang. Zarik walked to the door and out side stood seven Bratva "what the hell do you want?" "We are hear for our bitch." said one of them. "No." "No bitch you better watch what you say." "Or what." "or we will beat you to death." "OK you seven vs us seven. "said Zarik . "Hey no weapons either of you." said Arianna. Bratva walked back and stood across the street. the Oakleaf Spartans and Maddox walked out. Bratva walked to there car and emptied there weapons. Zarik walked up and the main Bratva walked up. "Do something or i will." Crack.

one and a half hours earlier.  "OK Johnny you got a lot of candy lets go home" said Elliot. Elliot looked up and saw a man wearing a Bird costume, the costume was pretty disturbing looking. "Johnny go run home ill be right there." said Elliot. Johnny ran home and Elliot walked slower. as Elliot walked so did the bird man. Elliot stopped and so did the bird man "Hey what is you..." but before he could get anything else out he was stopped with a Bang. and another and another. his body fell on the sidewalk and blood started leaking from his stomach and chest. his vision began to go blurry and the man ran into the woods. Elliot's breathing turned into gasping as his lungs slowly began to fill up with blood. cough. he tried to cough and blood splashed out of his mouth and all over his face. "Oh my god Elliot!!!" screamed out his mom. as she grabbed her phone and called 911. Elliot's eyes flickered and they closed and this time they closed for the last time. a tear dripped from Mrs. fox's eye and splashed on to his chest where is heart is. and for a split second it was almost like you could see his Spirit leave his body and float away. "He's all yours." she Prayed.
