If you were Venus and I was Mars

Would you give me the universe, the stars

If I said you were all I had

Would you stay with me, or turn to bad

If the ghost or your past haunts you now

Would you leave and never make a sound

If you take what not yours, your considered a sinner

But to you, it means you're a winner

If you tell me nothing compares to my eyes

I'll ask you how many times have you told those lies

If you're too blind to see what's right in front of you

Then you're just looking right on through

You keep going and going, never looking back

Even though I'm all the way behind you, under attack

All alone I sit

While you're off throwing another stupid fit
