"I think they hit it off"

I checked my phone to see if I got a message and guess who texted me, Lamont! He texted me and said "Hey baby! I'm sorry about what happened yesterday. I'm sure you still look decent, but not beautiful. Anyway I love you! Text me when you wake up" At this point I'm really done with him. I put my phone down and got ready for school. I threw on blue and white shirt that says "Tomboy", some Jordan's and some basketball shorts, I put on my gold hoop earrings and my necklace that said "boss" I looked in the mirror and started talking to myself and said "Your a beautiful young lady, no matter what anybody says, no everyone will like you but as long as you love yourself that's all that matters" I don't know why I did this but I did. I texted Lamont back and said "I love you too"

I walked to school, it was only about 10 minutes away. When I got to school, I saw some people look at me up and down... Why? Did I look pretty or did I look ugly? I don't know.

Audrey's Pov:

I was talking to Darío in the hallway until I saw Marilyn, I screamed "BAEE!" I ran over to her and hugged her. "Babe!" She smiled and we hugged for a long time until Darío cleared his throat. "Oh yeah sorry, Darío this is my best friend Marilyn and Marilyn this is Darío" They we're silent, they just looked each up and down and stared in each other eyes. "Helloooo" I said waving my hand. They snapped out of their daze. "Sorry" Darío says embarrassed "Yeah I'm sorry too" Marilyn says lauging. "Your very beautiful" Darío says smiling "Thank you... I haven't heard the compliment in awhile" Marilyn says blushing. I get confused. "Wait Lamont doesn't tell you your beautiful?" She frowns. Darío frowns probably cause he likes her but I could be wrong. "No, he never did he only told me I was.. Sexy if I wore a short dress or something like that but I'm breaking up with him today" I get shocked "Why?!" She hesitates but she says it "H..he... He's a jerk" she says while I tear falls from her face but she wipes it quickly. Poor baby. I hug her and Darío just sits there confused and I mouth "I'll tell you later" At that point the bell rang. I had math but Darío and Marilyn have history. She let's go and walks the other to go to class while Darío follows, he puts his arm around her and she lays her head on his shoulder. I think they really hit it off.
