He's A Cop?!

Claire's Point of View

I finally get to meet the mystery man tonight. I was in my closet trying to figure out what to wear. My mom's making me change to something that's appropriate. I grabbed a white long sleeve shirt and blue jeans. I walked downstairs after I had changed. "Mom when is this mystery guy coming?" She sprayed on some perfume "any minute now". I looked out the window waiting to see him pull up to the house. A police car stops in front of our house "mom there's a police car that stopped in front of our house!" I looked at her "oh sweetie he's a police officer". I scrunch up my eyebrows my mom's dating a cop?! First thing I saw was a blonde quiff and a police uniform. He walked over to the back seat and picked up a little girl. "He has a daughter?" I don't wanna be a sister especially not an older one. "Yes sweetie her name is Iris and she's three years old." He walked up to the door and rang the doorbell" Claire answer the door!" My mom said from upstairs probably putting on lipstick, I rolled my eyes. I opened the door slowly "hello officer." He smiled "you must be Claire you look just like your mother." I heard my moms heels click as she walked down the stairs. She might just be a little addicted to wearing them. "Come in" my mom said I moved aside. That's when I noticed his gun and handcuffs. Iris hid her face in the crook of his neck. They kissed which made my skin crawl EWW. I'm not going to pretend to be someone I'm not. "What's your name officer?" I questioned trying to stop them from kissing again. "My name is Niall and this is Iris but soon you can call" my mom stopped him mid sentence "lets go and have some dinner!"

Iris's Point of View

I sat next to my daddy during dinner. I kept looking a Claire she sat across from me. She give me a mean look, I stuck my tongue at her. "Iris you know not to stick your tongue people" I put my tongue back in "but daddy!" I whinnied and pointed at Claire who looked surprise "no Iris put your finger down and continue eating your diner" I started mumbling "ssh Iris I told what would happen if you don't act nicely tonight" my eyes "sorry daddy." He smiled "sorry she just probably a little tired."

Niall's Point of View

Dinner went by great "so when are you going to tell Claire about us?" I whispered into Jess's ear. "I guess now, did you tell Iris" I shook my head she stood up from the couch grabbing my hand to stand up with her. "Claire, sweetie and Iris, me and Niall are engaged!" Jess showed her hand with the ring on it. Claire looked upset and angry while Iris cheered, "is this ok with you?" Jess questioned to Claire. Claire stood up "Are you fucking insane mom! Your gonna marry a guy who you only knew for a few months?!" Iris giggled "ooo you said a bad word!"
"Hey don't yell at your mother like that" I said sternly. She rolled her eyes "I don't have to listen to you!" Then she ran up to her room slamming the door. I looked at Jess "I'll talk to her later, don't worry Niall everything is going to be fine" I sighed and nodded kissing her on the lips.
