Stiles POV

I've been nervous all day. I was finally gonna ask Derek to marry me. We've been dating for 3 years now and I've finally gotten the courage to ask him. It's our anniversary tonight and we're going out to eat dinner, which is when I'll pop the question. When I finish getting dressed I walk to the mirror and look myself over and I look pretty good with the clothes me and Lydia picked out earlier. I told Lydia what was gonna happen and she helped me pick out the perfect clothes for the perfect night. I hear someone knock on my apartment door and I quickly open it to see Derek. He looks amazing like he always does. He smiles so wide and I smile right back "You look so hot" I say "You look so amazing" he grabs me by the waist and kisses me. I return the kiss, our lips moving in sync and I pull away and rest my forehead against his "We should get going to the restaurant, we have a reservation." He nods and I turn around to lock the door and we leave to the restaurant.

Later On..
We arrive at the restaurant and I get out to open Derek's door for him. He gets out and smiles at me "Your such a gentlemen to me tonight" and smile back "Of course I am, it is our 3 year anniversary tonight." We walk in and I say to the host "Stilinski" and I think 'Hopeful soon to be Stilinski-Hale' and she nods and leads us to our table. We sit down and order our food. I'm getting a bit more nervous as time goes by, Derek notices my nervousness and says "Are you alright? Your fidgeting a lot" I look up at him from where I was twirling my thumbs "Yeah, just thinking about work a little" he nodded then the food came and we started eating. We talked said sweet things to each other while eating and when we finished I reached over the table and grabbed his hand in mine and rubbed his knuckles and look in his beautiful green eyes. "What?" He said after a while of us staring in each other's eyes "Just looking at my amazingly beautiful boyfriend and thinking about how much I love him" I said and he blushed and smiled shyly and said back "I love you too" we lean over the table to kiss and when we pull away, I decided this is the time to propose. I pull away slowly and Derek looks at me in question and I get out of my seat and get down on one knee.

Derek's POV
After me and Stiles kissed, he pulled away slowly for some reason and started to get out of his seat. He got down on one knee and I started in his eyes in surprise and I could feel tears come to my eyes "Derek Hale, we've been dating for 3 years. I knew I would love you so much the second I laid my eyes on you. Your the love of my life, I can't even think what my life would be like without you in it so, Derek Hale, would you do the honor and marry me?" He pulls out a box and opens it to reveal a silver band and I pull him to me to crash our lips together in a searing kiss, I pull away and rest my forehead against his and whisper "I would love to marry you." He smiles and we both cry out of happiness and people around us start clapping and congratulating us. We leave the restaurant to go home and celebrate our engagement with each other.
