Backstory: Jin was, more or less, verbally and mentally abused by his parents. Or, to be more specific, his mother and nonexistent biological father. His mother had gotten pregnant as a teenager by his biological father. Unfortunately, the man of whom she had given her heart to had vanished without a trace that very night. Ever since Jin was born, her life spiraled down into Hell. His mother's family had kicked her own and abandoned her along with the rest of her friends. She was forced to keep the baby, aka Jin. For Jinichiro's whole life, he's been told he's a good for nothing and that he should've never been born. Jin's worked all of his life, fearing and respecting his mother. He's been polite and gentle with her, caring for him when she's been neglecting him. He's worked hard to get scholarships as well and to support him and his alcoholic smoking mother. He's even got as far as to sleep with others for money at times around the campus and in his earlier high school days. His mother is quite unstable, taking it out on him all the time. Regardless, he continues to claim that he "loves" her. As Jin goes on in life, he continues to cover it all up with a confident, pure-hearted, and careless facade.
