Jake's POV (timeskip/ 2 weeks later) It's been two weeks since Xander and Aydan started going to school here. I was now best friends with Xander and had developed feelings for Aydan. I wanted to ask her out but I didn't want to ruin our friendship so I decided to talk to Xander.
Xander's POV I was sitting down waiting for Aydan since it was the end of the day when Jake walked over to me.
"Hey Xander, can I talk to you?" He said.
"Yeah. Watcha need?" I asked him with a confused face.
"I have feelings for Aydan and I want to ask her out but I don't want to ruin our friendship" he said. I was so surprised I had a loss for words. I finally found some words to say.
"She likes you too. She's had a crush on you for a while"
"Really?" He said excitedly.
"Yeah. You have a chance."
After a while, Aydan came out of the school. I went up to her and told her Jake needed to talk to her. She just looked confused then looked back at Jake. I gave him a reassuring smile and went to talk to some of my other friends.
Aydan's POV I wonder what Jake wants I thought. I seen him standing by a tree, looking nervous. I went up to him and gave him a curious look.
"What did you want to talk to me about?" I could tell he was nervous.
"I wanted to talk to you about something" he said, shaking slightly.
"You know you can tell me anything" I said looking at Jake, which was looking at the ground.
"Ilikeyou" he said quickly with his eyes shut.
"What"
"I said that I like you." I was shocked but then smiled.
"I like you too, Jake" He looked at me and smiled.
"Aydan, will you go out with me?" I looked at him and smiled.
"Yes."
Jake's POV After she said yes, I smiled the widest smile I've ever smiled.
"I'll pick you up at 6:00 tomorrow" I said giving her my number. We left and surprisingly, we lived on the same street. She went to her house and I went to mine.
I walked in and put my stuff up. I went downstairs and into the kitchen where my older brother, Logan, was.
"What's up with you?" He asked.
"Nothing." I said, getting my phone out of my pocket.
"Well, it doesn't look like nothing to me"
"Well it is nothing"
"C'mon. Tell me Jakey,"
"No, Logan"
"Whatever. You'll tell me sooner or later" And with that, he left. I just rolled my eyes and went to my room.
Aydan's POV I got home and went to my room. I went through my closet looking for something decent to wear tomorrow. I searched through all my clothes till I found this:

I laid my outfit on my dresser when I heard my parents calling for my brother and I to come eat. I went downstairs, got my food and sat at the table. When I finished my dinner, I put my plate in the sink and went upstairs. I did my night routine and went to bed, smiling at the day that waited for me.
