Laurel's Pov.
I slowly, instinctively stretch my arm towards her small, fragile, bloody, strained face. The lightly tanned skin of my petite, shaking hand meets her dark toned, mauled cheek. My hands gently brushed over her cheek bone and I moved closer to hug her. A sudden force pushed me back as hard as it could. My back slammed against the wall and a wave of pain and exhaustion flowed through me. The sound of glass breaking caught my attention and as my eyes fluttered open, I saw it. The small circle mirror on the dusty floor. The shattered glass was almost everywhere. The wooden frame was split in several places. A flashback came to me as soon as I saw it.
