Saying Goodbye

“Miss? Are you alright?” The man asked

“That’s a good question.” I said as I stared at the stars, I moved my head to the side and he walked closer.

“Do you need me to call someone? Police? Ambulance?” He asked

“No.” I said pushing myself up to where I was leaning on my elbows while laying down and I smirked at the man. “But you may need one.” I said as I smiled at him and sped in front of him and slowly drained him and he screamed. I soon finished and then, pushed his car to the side of the road and flipped it then, put him in it and then, got in my car and left, I drove to the boarding house. I walked in and Stefan was sitting on the couch reading a book.

“Stefan, what are you doing? It’s a Saturday night. Your young you should be out having fun.” I said as I sat across from him.

“Oh save it.” He said I rolled my eyes.

“Steffanie.” I said and he cracked a smile and looked up ove the top of his book at me.

“You haven’t called me that in awhile. Its annoying but, I kind of missed it.” He said

“I know you did Steffanie, so where’s Dam dam?” I asked him

“Your precious dam dam is not here, check Elena’s.” He said I stood up and walked over to Stefan and pulled the book from his hands and sat on his lap, he let out a deep sigh knowing what I was going to say.

“How are you with this break up?” I asked

“As okay as any vampire could be when he finds someone he thought he was meant to be with.” He said and I sighed then, pulled his head up so he was looking at me, I leaned closer to him.

“What are you doing?” He asked me

“Taking your mind off of her.” I said as I leaned closer to where our lips would brush against each others if we talked.

“I can’t.” He said

“Its just a kiss.” I said as I crushed my lips to his and kissed him and he kissed me back and my hands tangled in his hair, after a few minutes I pulled away from him.

“Better?” I asked him and he looked at me.

“I-I-“ He said and stood up forgetting I was on his lap.

“Sorry.” He said as he helped me up and then sped off to his room I’m guessing. I smiled and then, went to the door and walk out.

“Don’t go.” I turned to see Stefan standing there.

“I can’t trust myself to be alone.” He said

“Of course.” I said and walked up stairs with him. He changed and then laid on his bed and I went to my room and grabbed a tank top and shorts then pulled my hair into a messy bun and wiped the makeup off then, went back to Stefan’s room and laid in the bed with him not realizing it was about 1:45 a.m. I laid next to him and he had his back to me, so I faced my back to him and snuggled with the pillow and drifted off to sleep and sometime during the night I felt my body being pulled into some arms.

“Wakey wakey everybody!” Damon yelled and I groaned rolling over and falling off the bed onto the floor really hard.

“Ow.” I whined and opened my eyes to find Damon dying on the floor laughing and Stefan staring down at me trying not to laugh in my face. I stood up and rubbed my head then, walked out the room and kicked Damon in the stomach a few times and then walked to my room and I showered after 10 minutes I got out the shower and brushed my hair and let it hand down and let it turn wavy, then, I slipped on some skinny jeans, black fitted shirt and some black bobs and walked down to the kitchen when I stopped when I was in view of the living room to see Elijah, Rebekah and Klaus.

“And now my breakfast is ruined.” I said as I walked through the living room to the basement and grabbed 2 blood bags and walked back upstairs and sat on the couch then, ripped a blood bag open and sucked it dry then repeated with the second one.

“Are you done?” Rebekah asked me

“No one said you had to stop and watch me, carry on.” I said as I stood up and then, walked to the kitchen and disposed of the bags and then, took the burnt bread out of the toaster and then, poured myself some coffee when I felt a presence in the kitchen door way.

“What do I owe the pleasure of your presence?” I asked as I poured a bit of creamed and added the sugar then, stirred it.

“What are you doing here?” Klaus asked me

“Well Niklaus  that is none of your business seeing how, I don’t keep tabs on you.” I said

“Did you sleep with one of them?” He asked

“If you must know…nope.” I said as I sipped my coffee, then sat it down.

“Did-“

“I’m going to stop you right there…okay you know how you told me you did love me and how that one night was just a night well, you broke a promise to me. I loved you and for some stupid reason still do, but you don’t care for me anymore and I think by you being in here playing 20 questions isn’t helping this….whatever this is.” I said waving my hand between us.

“I loved you Nik hell I still do but, you told me you don’t feel the same so this is me sucking up my heartbreak and telling you to get out. And that I just can’t have you popping up. I’m leaving…I know you have business with the doppleganger so I will make it easier on you and leave so this is good bye Niklaus.” I said as I walked out the back door and to my car and drove to my apartment and then began to pack everything (just clothes, shoes, makeup and little things.) and put it in my truck and had my mustang hitched to the back of my truck and I was off. I took off driving till I find a place, about 6 hours later my phone rang.

“Yellow.” I said

“What are you doing?!” Damon yelled

“Calm down.” I said

“Where are you?” He asked me

“I am moving…where to not sure yet but, I am safe and will tell you when I am there.” I said

“Fine but, really didn’t even tell me goodbye?” He asked with pain in his voice.

“Put me on speaker phone with Stefan and you.” I said

“Okay Stefan is here.”

“I would never want to say goodbye you big dummy, I am giving you a reason to come visit me.” I laughed a little

“So when you get there you will tell us where you will be?” Stefan asked

“Yes. And you can tell only the people that I can stand…but please please please I am begging you not to tell Klaus.” I said

“Deal.” Damon said quickly.

“So who can know?” Stefan asked

“Well you two, I guess Caroline, Elena, Jeremy, Bonnie, Matt but not Tyler or any originals.” I said

“Why not Tyler he’s your best friend.”

“As long as he is sired to Klaus he can’t know.” I said

“Okay well be safe.” Stefan said

“Okay bye guys.” I said and hung up.
