The Olympians

Chapter 1, Claire's POV

I woke up and did my normal day schedule. Taking a warm shower, brushing my teeth, yeah, you get the point. As I left my dorm, I saw a pack of... men on horses? I could've sworn I saw them connected.

"Good Morning Claire!" exclaimed Una.

I don't have any actual "friends" here at Oek Academy; but I'm okay with that. I didn't come here to make friends. I passed by the people who tease me. Usually because I'm better than them, but they won't admit it. Quin Salazar, Lynn Zhang, and the worst, Thug Ramos. Or atleast I call him that; Doug Ramos

"Oohhhh look at Clarinet today! She's worse then yesterday!" Doug yelled out.

I ignored them.

"Wow! Her father and Mother must be really ugly and stuck up just like Claire" said Lynn

And that's where I got angry. My father is getting laughed at because of me. I raced up to them, got my sharpest pencil and nearly stabbed Doug in the neck.

"Sorry, can you repeat that again? Or can you shut up."

The words just came out of my mouth. I never did that in my whole entire life- everyone thought I was shy girl so they were just staring at me and Doug. I dropped Doug.

"Sorry. I've been wanting to do that for a while. But please shut up and smack yourself for what you did with not just me, but the other kids you teased."

He actually smacked himself, which was surprising. After I kicked him in the crotch, I left him whining on the floor.

Una went up to me and said "Well, that was surprising. Can I talk to you privately? I've got something to tell you."

Well, it was class time, but I honestly wanted to skip it so I just followed Una. She led me to a place I never seen before. There was a statue of a guy holding a lightning bolt, and I'm assuming that was Zeus. I was pretty much dieing because of the heatness in here but I didn't feel comfortable saying that.

"So.. Claire. Do you think greek gods are real?"

So she just came here to ask me that? I didn't want to be rude so I didn't really say that..

"I do find it interesting but I'm not superstitious. I don't think they exist"

"Oh. Well they're coming- Claire?"

My legs couldn't hold me for any longer, so I fell down and then everything turned black.
