"Monster" A Word With No Meaning {Gaara x Reader}

Chapter One

(Y/N) giggled as she joked with her new friends. She was new in Suna, so she had only a small amount of friends. She eas turning 16 that day, so her friends decided it fitting  they throw her a party, so they did.

(Y/N) looked at the sky. "Well, I'd better get going. It's getting late, and I get my new team tomorrow." She said as she stood from her seat.

"Oh, that's fine, (Y/N). Just go get your rest. We'll be fine here." Her new best friend, Shuko, told her.

"Thanks, Shuko. Bye guys." (Y/N) exclaimed as she began walking home.

(Y/N) walked towards her house, but a certain building peeked her interest. She stared at it. It was fairly tall, but definitely not as tall as the buildings in her old village. She smiled at the sight, and continued to walk as she gazed at the tall building, until she bumped into something.

The thing she bumped into was not a thing, but a person standing there with his arms crossed, and a stern look on his face. (Y/N) chuckled nervously as she looked up at the figure.

He made a 'tsk' noise before he spoke. "Who are you?" He questioned her.

"Oh, me? I'm (Y/N). I just moved here to Suna. And you are?" (Y/N) responded without thinking.

"Gaara." His answer was short, but gave (Y/N) no more information than she had asked for.

(Y/N) smiled slightly as she held out her hand. "Well, it's nice to meet you Gaara." Her smile grew a bit.

Gaara looked at her hand with a puzzled expression, then he took her hand in his and shook her hand. His grip was firm, but not tight.

Hai gais, author here, I just wanna say sorry go the short chapter, but this is the first chapter.....SO it will be a little bit shorter than the others.
