It was Saturday morning and today I took the day off. I gripped tightly to my boyfriends back as I left wet kisses on his bare chest. He groaned loudly as he turned over and smiled at me.

"Good morning, my love." He left a kiss on my nose and I smiled at him.

Jordan was amazing. He took care of me and was always there for me. We've been together for nearly 3 years and I love him, a lot.

"What's our plans for the day?" I asked as I perched myself on my hand as I stared down at him.

"Well, I was actually thinking we should talk about things." I gave him a worried look as he kind of gave me a sense that he was unhappy.

"No, it's nothing bad, baby." He rubbed my back and we both sat up so we could see each other more clearly. I stared into his blinding blue eyes.

"So, I've been thinking lately about the future...our future." Silence fell upon the room.

Jordan had his heart and soul set on being with me forever. Personally, I don't see that becoming a reality. I'm a reserved kind of girl, where as he is outgoing. He's introduced me to many things in life, some good but equally as bad. I just feel I'm not exactly good enough for him, but of course me being me could never let him go. I'm selfish and like to keep whats mine close to me.

I let out a sigh as I sit up and cross my legs. I stare into those eyes my young self fell in love with. Sometimes I feel that I only date him because of jealousy and envy.

"Look, J, I'm really not in the mood for another deep conversation. Maybe some other time, yeah?" I gave him a sympathetic look as I rub my hand up and down his back. I really do not deserve his love, better yet him himself.

He looked taken back, but soon recovered and snapped out of his gaze by shaking his head. "Yeah, it's ok, I totally understand. I have a few things I need to handle at the office today, so how about when I get home, I'll treat you with a nice glass of wine and a foot massage? I can see you've been quite stressed lately."

I smile and nod my head slowly, getting up to make breakfast.

I decided to make myself somewhat productive, so I decided to head to the mall with the mindset of revamping my closet.

I walked into the busy setting, something I personally hate. I look around the newly built mall that was in my town, when my eyes landed on a few shops.

A couple hours later, and I had bags upon bags. I was now in starbucks drinking my frappe while staring outside people watching. I was relaxed and in a peaceful mindset, until I seen him, with her. I mentally threw up as I seen them hand in hand walking into starbucks. He must have seen me as he was walking over to me, making me want to run out.

"Hey Casandra, funny seeing you here." He smiles at me with his award winning, goofy smile. I return one and invite them to sit. They agree and sit their bags down.

"The usual, baby?" Oh my god, I really should have ran out.

"Yes, of course." She smiles back at him.

Why was I mad at her? I mean, yes she took him away from me, but it's so obvious they make each other happy, and more importantly in love.

It was kind of awkward between us. The tension was so thick that a knife could cut it into two separate pieces. I tried my best to look anywhere but into her eyes as I felt as if I could just cry, cry of the fact she ruined my life without even realizing it. I found myself looking at her engagement ring, and god was it gorgeous. She really is lucky to have such an amazing guy in her life.

Grayson comes back over to us and sets down Kourtney's drink, while he comes back with a decaf, of course.

"I see you still haven't gotten into coffee." I giggle at him as he sits down. He nods his head in agreement while staring into my eyes. For a minute it looked as if he was lost, but he quickly snapped out of his gaze however.

"Yeah, I like to keep it on the minimum."

"He only drinks the coffee I make him back home." Kourtney interrupts very rudely, putting the message across to me that her boy toy is off limits. Okay, I got it.

I stare at her in shock for a minute while internally rolling my eyes at her pettiness.

"So Cas, I was meant to text you, but since your here now, how would you like to come to our engagement party on Friday night?" Grayson asks with a glimmer of hope in his eyes, which make me explode in the inside.

"I will have to take a sick day at work, but I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem." I smile in return as he grows a large smile. God what I'd do to have him.

"That's great, I'll text you the final details later tonight."

"Please make sure you're dressed formally, my parents are hosting and you sure wouldn't want to make yourself look stupid would you?" That mother fu-

"Kidding! I'm messing." She reassures me, but the smirk played across her beaten face is not very promising.

It's crazy that after all of these years, I'm going to be attending my best friends engagement party. If you would have told me this last week, I'd laugh in your face. I'm not sure how I should feel, but it's definitely exciting...
