Lauren | Lazy days

The smell of something infiltrated my nose. The pleasant scent of breakfast being made on a peaceful Saturday morning.

The sun was peaking through the blinds, giving the room just enough light to see the clothes that had been strewn about during last nights events. Blush immediately rose to my cheeks as I remembered what had all happened.

Lauren's place in bed was still warm, so she had probably just gotten up. I crawled out of bed and threw on one of her oversized hoodies, immediately wrapped in her scent.

My feet softly padded down the stairs on the way to the kitchen, only for me to stop in the doorway. I stopped to admire the sight that is Lauren.

Her raven coloured hair, tied up in a messy bun, her body only covered by one of my hoodies and a pair of underwear, her voice softly humming as her hips swayed to the song playing the the background.

My heart melted at the sight. Lauren was absolutely gorgeous, and hot, and sexy but that was never all I saw. I saw this masterpiece of a woman who had a kind heart, with a laugh that could make even the coldest hearts melt. But most importantly I saw the woman that I had fallen in love with.

I saw a woman who could light up a room with her smile. A woman who's laugh was so contagious, that your stomach would ache anytime she was around. A woman that would give anything for the ones she loves. A woman who has so much passion for things that are important to her. A woman that I want to spend the rest of my life with one day. The woman that I want to spend the rest of my life with.

Making my way over to her I wrapped my arms around her waist and rested my head into the crook of her neck, only to have her immediately relax and lean into me.

"Hey, baby" I mumbled into her neck, punctuating my sentence with a soft kiss.

She hummed a happy sigh in response and softly swayed me along with her.

"Y/N?" She asked softly.

"Yeah, Laur?" I whispered back, resting my chin on the top of her head.

"I love you" She whispered. Almost as if she felt that if she spoke any louder that she would wake up, and this would all be a dream. That we would all be a dream.

My heart immediately swelled at the fact that even after we had been dating for a few months, those words never lost their meaning. It never meant less each time we said it. It always meant that she had my heart.

"I love you, Lauren, so unbelievably much" I said, carefully turning her around so that I could hold her face in my hands.

She physically melted at my words and into my touch, letting my hands hold most of the weight of her head.

My smile grew twice as large as it was before, just admiring the girl in my palms. She always returned the same doe eyed expression that we always managed to have.

"I fucking love you" I emphasized my words my squeezing her cheeks so that she looked like a little fish.

My eyes flickered from her astonishing green eyes to her soft, puckered lips. Lauren automatically did the same and gently closed the gap in between us, connecting our lips in the softest, most passionate kiss that we'd ever had. We both ended up smiling like fools and ruining the kiss, but not before giving her a few more loving pecks on the lips.

Pulling back I got to see the effect that I actually had on her. I never really believed people when that told me how happy I made Lauren. It's not that I didn't feel the same way or anything like that, it's just hard to believe that I make the girl of my dreams as happy as she makes me.

Her eyes were still peacefully closed while her forehead rested on mine, her mouth in the widest smile that I've ever seen, her breathing, slow and heavy.

"Holy shit" she whispered.

"The pancakes are gonna burn" she quickly finished as she turned around, getting back to what she was doing before I distracted her.

I hopped up onto the island counter behind me and just admired the girl that stood before me. I always found myself doing that, admiring her. How could I not? She is the embodiment of beauty.

"You're staring again" Lauren said, raising her eyebrows.

"Not staring babe, I'm appreciating the masterpiece that stands before me" I said motioning to all of her.

Red tinted her cheeks almost immediately, she tucked her head into the crook of my attempting to hide her blush.

My arms instinctively found their place wrapped around her body, pulling her as close as possible.

"God, you're so damn beautiful" I mumbled, placing a kiss onto the crown of her head.

She let out a little squeal as she nuzzled her head into my neck, placing a soft kiss on my collarbone.

I couldn't take it after that. I gently untangled her body from mine, just to pick her up and spin around with her as she wrapped her legs around my waist, pulling me into a passionate kiss.

Giggles poured from her mouth, her face showing signs of pure bliss and peacefulness.

"I seriously cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you, Lauren Michelle Jauregui Morgado" I said getting lost in her compelling green eyes.

Her eyes visibly lit up at the mention of our future together, excited for what time would bring for us.

Lauren couldn't find the words she wanted to say, so she instead pecked my lips and smiled wider than she ever has before.

"I love you, so much Y/N. Now, come and eat the pancakes are going to get cold" She hummed, with both of her hands on each side of my face, giving each a quick pat before turning around.
