I came across to the sullen realization that there is no respect accumulating around anymore. Why is it so hard for people to be kind? Society as we know it has fallen into the abyss of hate, violence, unrealistic expectations, war and disrespect. There are so many examples of this. The simple fact that disrespect is 'normal' horrifies me. Yes, there are people who know how to stay in their lane, but, there are just enough to make the world so dark and impure. However, i know I'm a hypocrite for saying these very words. That won't stop me from feeling the way I do.
I believe a lot of people assume they can't make a change. One person may go, "I'm only one person, what can I do?" If you look at it in retrospect, you have a large mass of the population having the exact same mentality. What would happen if all 7+ billion people on this planet believe they can make a change? Would chaos arise? Or, would we finally push past the limitations of the law of physics.
The sad reality is that humanity will never reach that point without surpassing the insatiable hunger being greed. Money is a limitation to humanity. This whole materialistic wall we built around ourselves to be "happy" is merely a roadblock to true happiness. We are always longing for some change, any change. Yet, we do nothing to spark that change. Lazy creatures, we constantly wait until someone else invokes the change for us. What ever happened to getting your hands dirty?
