Summer Camp

Chapter 1

The blue J72X bus speed down the road dropping passengers off almost every mile. The dark-skinned girl with her long curly hair reached for the button to signal the driver to stop at the next stop.

"I wanted to do that" her friend wearing her blue denim shirt and a white cat gang shirt said throwing her hands up in the air.

"Well sorry, Kai but you didn't act fast enough." The girl said laughing and throwing her hands up in the air.

"I hate you Rin," Kai said laughing.

"I'm excited about camp this year." The short girl responded, her puffy bun on the top of her head sat there a cute mess which she was going for, with her blue jeans and her pink "Babe" shirt she was ready for camp this year.

"You say that every year Soya," Kai said.

"I know that I'm just excited for this year!" Soya said rubbing her hands together in excitement.

"What's wrong with you Queen? You're really silent right now." Rin said to the boy leaning on the window of the bus. He had his red flannel over his Darth Vader sweatshirt, his tight black pants and his red vans were so coordinated it was painful.

"Nothing, I'm just tired. I know when I get to camp I am definitely going to sleep." Queen responded sitting up and fixing his glasses.

"I'm hoping to meet some cute people this summer, a summer romance like in the Wattpad Books!" Rin exclaimed clapping her hands together in an offbeat rhythm.

"I hate when you do that," Queen responded.

"Do what?" Rin said doing the motion again mocking Queen.

The bus came to a stop. The 4 grabbed their bags and got off the bus. Queen held the door for Rin, Soya, and Kai. The four sat on the bench that was at the bus stop waiting for the camp bus to stop there a pick them up. Rin pulled out a book, Kai, Queen, and Soya pulled out their phones.

"Yall let's take a picture." He held his gold phone up in the air. He and the 3 girls looked at the phone and smiled. *CLICK*

"Oooh! This is cute!" Queen responded.

"Send that to me," Rin said.

"Guys look!" Kai said as 4 boys walked their direction each with a duffle bag in hand.

"Dibs!" Rin said.

"On which one?" Queen asked.

"The tall one with the long hair. See on the right? Him." She pointed to the boy with a grey tank top and black shorts. He was the second tallest out of the 4 boys. His long black hair covered his ears and was almost to his neck.

"You can take him he's is not cute," Kai said. "I want the one on the left." Kai glanced at the one on the left. He was one of the shorter boys he had shaggy black hair and a strong jawline. His skin was pale and not as dark as the others, his dark brown eyes shining in the sun.

"Nah, he's alright. But look at the one in the middle, on the right." Queen said the boy he was talking about was the tallest of the 4 boys. He had short brown hair with gold highlights at the end. He was darker than the boy Kai liked but not as dark as Queen. He had plump lips and a style in which Queen admired.

"Ugh no, it's all about the one on the right in the middle," Soya said making her classic puking noise before she started speaking. The boy she was talking about had dark brown hair and green eyes, he had snow white skin and a long neck. The 4 boys walked down the hill past the bus stop and started walking on the trail down from them.
