You couldn't fall asleep. Every little sound caused you to force your eyes open.

"Hoseok I'm scared..." you mumbled, half hoping that he'd wake to comfort you, but half hoping he wouldn't.

You stared at the ceiling. You tried to imagine your teddy bear to be with you, but it was no use.

You just chuckled.

"I'm pathetic for being scared..." you said, not aware that Hoseok was staring at you. "I can't even ask my boyfriend for help..." you sighed. "I could just read..."

"You've got work tomorrow..." Hoseok mumbled and pulled you close to him.

"You heard?"

"Yeah..." he kissed your cheek. "It's not pathetic you know."

"Hm?"

"It's fine to have an attachment to him. You've had him for years and he's always been your shoulder to cry on."

"He's just a teddy bear..."

"He's not to you..." he mumbled into your ear. "I'm sorry we couldn't find him."

"It's fine..."

"I'll just be your teddy bear until then."

"Wait wha?" Hoseok strengthened his grip around your waist and kissed the back of your neck.

"I'll be your teddy bear until you find the real one."

"Really?"

"Yea... I'll be your cuddle buddy, I'll comfort you when you cry, and I'll hug you when you're scared. I'll even add a bunch of kisses too."

"Hoseok, you already do those things."

"I'll just have to do them more, so your teddy bear and you boyfriend can always be there for you."

It was silent.

"I love you (Y/N)~"

"I love you too my teddy bear."
