Juliet's POV
I didn't know where I was going. I was just letting my feet take me where it pleased. I walked out the house without making a sound. I made sure my dad didn't hear the door open and sneaked out the house. I did a quick right turn passing my nice lovely neighbors' house. I passed Uncle Joe's house and I started to get out of the neighborhood and walked straight towards the woods. The Monroe Woods. I heard many events happened in the Monroe Woods but I wasn't scared of it. I just continued to let my feet go where it pleases.
After it seems like hours of walking I see a road. It wasn't in the middle of nowhere, and it wasn't crowded either. It was a nice town from the looks of it. The way it looks is really pleasing to the eye. I continued to walk until I was in the middle of the road. Once I was in the middle of the road my feet had planted there. As much as I try to move my feet and legs, it wouldn't move. It didn't allow me to. I just stood there hoping that no car would come and run me over. But the universe wouldn't listen to me. Instead, they gave me a speeding car that seems to be coming towards me. The closer it had gotten the faster my heart had paced and I knew it would be the end of my life.
"THE END IS NEAR!" The driver cried as his car crashed into my body. A loud pierced scream had shouted to the sky. The driver got off the car and came to me. He shook my body as he kept calling my name,
"Juliet." He said, tears welling in his green orbs.
"Juliet." He started to yell.
"Jules!"
"Wake up!"
"Wake up!" The voice turns into my father and he looks at me worriedly.
"Are you okay?" My dad asked as he brushed his hands on my cheeks
"Y-yeah. Why?" I asked.
"You've been screaming in your sleep again," He told me, "It's like you've been possessed by a demon or something. You're scaring me, you know."
I sat up on my bed and told him, "I've been having the same nightmare lately. It's like I was possessed or compelled into walking into the woods and leaving this town. Right after hours of walking I see a road and right after I see this road I stand there until I get his by a speeding car. What's happening to me Dad? Am I going insane? Is this what's going to happen to me?"
"No no no no. Sweetheart it isn't going to happen to you. It will never happen to you okay. I'll protect you. You'll be safe."
The words echoed in my head. You are going to be safe..
Safe...
Safe...
Safe...
I jumped out of bed. It was all just a dream. It was another freaky dream within a dream. But there is nothing to worry about. Nothing bad is going to happen to me. I've been given good luck ever since I was born. When I was in my mother's tummy, doctors said I had this kind of disability that will kill me by the age of three. He never really got deep into the topic, even though I was curious was this kind of disability was but I was able to get out of it. I was able to live a normal life. But lately, I've been having some insane dreams. I find them entertaining. It gives me a kind of rush through the skin.
As abnormal it may sound but I have never had a fear. Nothing ever seemed to scare me. I had never faced a challenge in my life. And when I say I never face a challenge, I never did. School has been always easy for me. I've been able to pick up any lesson right away and comprehend what it is about. So school was no challenge.
