AN INTRODUCTION TO THERIANS
Stories of werewolves have been around almost as long as the human race, and although we as a species enjoy talking about them and using them in dumb works of fiction (The Twilight Saga), we don’t know if they truly exist. Ok, so it’s basically impossible for a human to turn into a wolf, because that would be far too painful and destructive and if you actually did you’d be in too much pain and couldn’t actually function. But… No, it’s crazy. Well… Not exactly.
Think about it, these stories have been told and modified and people have come up with their own supernatural werewolf stories for so long, is it possible that there’s some shred of truth to it? Maybe there actually are people who can transform into a wolf, maybe not in body—although we’re working on it—
but at least in spirit. So… do you think that there is? If you said no, please hear me out, and if you said yes, thank you, I think you’re on the right track.
Yes. There are people out there who believe that they are wolves. And they are, but in spirit. They aren’t necessarily modern-day werewolves, but simply amazing people who are a lot closer to nature than most of the world. Their name? Therians.
Therians are people who are so in touch with nature that they have a bond with their spirit animal that’s so strong they are that animal trapped inside a human. Now I know I used wolves as an example but therians can be any animal. I’ve met bird therians, cat therians, and all other types. As for myself, I am a wolf therian.
Now just because you take a quiz about a spirit animal and get a wolf doesn’t make you a wolf therian. It makes you someone who took a spirit animal quiz and got a wolf. Now if you’re someone who has had a strong fascination with wolves and dogs and always felt a little wrong as a human, then you might be a wolf therian. Most people aren’t born knowing their theriotype, but are “awakened” later in life.
Interested in what I have to say about myself and other therians? Confused about what I’m talking about? Thinking you might actually be a therian and this makes sense to you? Just bored and want to read something?
READ ON!!! This book is supposed to be a guide to therianthropy and discovery your theriotype and/or lack of one.
