It's never over
The pain, the loss
The torment, the guilt
The refraction of spattered blood
And hospital rooms
Moments in time
When there was no time
Times when the moments were few
And each passing day
Drove the nail only further throughIt's never over
You can still feel
The guilt of their passing
The darkness
Still see their lips
But not moving
Bodies were still
Minds no longer thought
Emptiness overcame
The small space to feel
Not sorry but sorrowIt's never over
Transcendence is now
The way of life
Everything that you felt you had and knew
Is changed forever
You learn to live again
In new times
New faces
New minds
With the same feelings
Because it's never over
