The move

"(Y/n)! Have you got everything?"

You bounced downstairs with your bag over one shoulder.

"Yep, everything's out"

Jumping in the car, you placed your headphones over your ears, starting up your music as you dropped some biscuits in the front pocket. You had a long drive to the airport and didn't feel like listening to your sisters the entire ride.

After double checking the house your parents hopped in the car, and you started on your way.

Paris. The city of love. The city of jobs. The city of new things, changes, anxiety inducing scenarios and much more.

You hated this.

Hauling your wriggling bag and multiple boxes into your new room you shut the door before heaving a sigh, and unzipped the pocket.

A burst of white and grey zoomed out before circling your head a few times.

"Geez Nala, calm down."

The vibrating ball of energy stopped in front of your eyes for only a few seconds to speak.

"No! How can I?! All of this is new, well to you it is, oh my gosh, I love this, besides, I've been cooped up that entire flight!"

The kwami then continued to fly around your new room, commenting  the entire time.

"Oh my gosh I love your new room!"

"You should put the table here!"

"Oh and your pictures here!"

"Do you think we will fight any bad guys?"

"We should go see master fu!"

"I can't wait to see your new school!"

"The theme should be blue!"

"How about-"

She was suddenly cut off as you reached out and grabbed her, holding her in your cupped hands.

"Nala, you need to calm down! Your going to give us away!"

As if on cue, a knock sounded on your door.

"(Y/n), are you ok in there? I heard a lot of noise. You really need to be heading to bed!"

Glancing at the clock you realised the time was 11:30. Shifting a little you hesitantly answered.

"Yeah, in fine, just a little excited. I'll head to bed now."

You didn't hear anything in reply except for footsteps leading away from your door.

Sighing you slowly opened your hands and looked at the blushing kwami in your palms.

"Sorry (y/n)"

Rolling your eyes you turned as she hovered at your shoulder. You quickly changed and got into your sleeping bag. You still had to wait for all your furniture to arrive. Thinking over what Nala said you turned to her quickly.

"Hey, who's master fu?"

She stopped for a second, seemingly pondering the question before continuing to snuggle into your pillow.

"Don't worry, you'll find out soon."

Not quite satisfied with the answer but not wanting to push her, you shrugged before rolling over and falling asleep.
