Distant Dreams

I dreamt about you.

I was in your house, I don't know why. I'm with my grandma, don't know why too. Your family was there, but we didn't talk to each other. I was just sitting in one of your chairs near the door.

I grabbed my phone and saw one of your status. I commented, "Asa ka? Naa ko sa inyoha" ("Nasan ka? Nasa inyo ako").
After a minute you replied, "Pagsure, katoltol diay kas amoa?" ("Sure ka? Alam mo ba address namin?"). We seemed close, but we aren't. "Oh sa *your address*" ("Oo sa *your address*"), I replied. After that I didn't got any reply.

I was in your bathroom when I heard you outside so instead of going out I hid there. I heard my friends voice and told you where I was hiding (I don't know how they got there). You opened the door and I hid behind it while covering my face, I'm embarrassed! But still, you saw me. You were saying, "Jae Jae". Your voice was so soft. Like an angel calling out from heaven. After that you left me and went to the living room. I followed you there and saw 2 of my friends (I still don't know how they got there). They teased me. I told them to shut up 'coz you might get pissed, and they did.

The scene changed. The place was unfamiliar. We are talking beside a car. You were smiling. I was mesmerized by that smile and thought, "I hope the world would just stop and I can live by just seeing this astonishing smile of his". But there was a sudden change of mood. Two strange car arrived. When they got out of the car they were looking straight to us, like they were here for us. I felt nervous. When they're​ finally near us one of them suddenly punched you in your stomach. I was shocked, I didn't know what to do! I was about to cry when the scene suddenly changed. I was away from you, while you were still beside them. But you look pale! You look so weak! I was so worried but my feet didn't move.. until you collapsed! I hastily run towards you. I was trying to wake you up, I touched your face and shaked them softly while chanting your name, "Jj! Jj!". I looked around and hope that someone would help us, there are people but they didn't care! I was so furious!

I brought you towards the car and decided to go to a hospital. It was so dark I can almost see nothing. You were still unconscious. I was soooo worried. Then I saw a light! From a white building, I'm not sure if that was a hospital but I thought there might be someone who can help us there. I stopped the car near the entrance. I went out and left you in the car. I uttered, "Hello? Naay taw?" ("Hello? May tao po ba?"). No one responded. I went inside, the surrounding was full of silence. The silence is making me deaf. Then suddenly the lights were off. It was so dark and silent. But I wasn't scared because I was desperate to look for someone who could help you. Someone grabbed me and pulled me towards the center of the place. It looks like a church, there was an altar. They were chanting something, I don't understand anything at all. I was between being curious and worrying about you. I wasn't scared. I dunno why. After that the lights were on again. But this time, there are people surrounding me. They clapped, like I was in some kind of awarding. A man said, "Wow. Ikaw ray wala nahadlok sa among ge buhat inday haha" ("Wow. Ikaw lang yung hindi natakot sa ginawa namin iha haha"). I don't know what's their deal and I don't care. They all smiled at me, creepy. "Pwede naka mulakaw inday" ("Makakaalis kana iha"), said the man. I obeyed what he said because they all looked creepy.

I forgot the main reason why I went there. While walking outside, I felt so tired. When I glanced at the car you were still there, unconscious. But I wasn't worried anymore, because you looked fine already. I was so tired I decided to lie down and take a nap in the car's hood. It suddenly rained but I didn't care about getting wet. The next thing I saw was you opening your eyes slowly like you were just sleeping and woke up that time. I smile and thought, "Thank God he's fine."

Then I slept in my dream and woke up in reality.
