My Rainless Rainbow

Sometimes it gets too hard to handle,

and then like a river it just flows.

Out of control, not everyone enjoys the rain.

I did once, but now it's painful.

The hail's too strong, and my eyes are too small.

I can't hide everything, not for long.

Friends? They stay for long.

I don't say they don't,

but how long will I depend on a friend? Why should I open up?

To be judged?

No thank you.

I'll stay quiet, just immersed in myself.

This isn't a poem, I know.

But sometimes, you just have to let it go.

Take hold of the pen and let it guide you,

just let the ink flow, and let yourself go.

Why?

Cause sometimes, you just can't handle the expectations.

And you just have to... no.

You need to act reckless,

if not forever, Just for a while,

Just for a second.

Just to feel relieved and to know that,

Not every rainbow come after the rain.
