Rumors

Everyday I hear rumors, rumors that are not normal, scary ones. Let me tell you a story that involves me, Jason and only me. It was just a normal day at school, like you know everyday, bullies, friends or enemy's. Well I'm that kind of kid, who doesn't believe in paranormal activity and all that stuff. There has always been a rumor that there is something that lives in the forest, but I never did believe in it. Well I'm a lonely kid, the kind that has no one to play with but I'm okay. I asked everybody to come and search if there is a creature in that forest, well nobody said okay but I guess that I was the only brave one then. They call the 'creature' shadow, I gotta admit that it's a cool name but I don't think it's real. I was just so curious what it was in the forest or was it just a prank that a kid made up. So I got all my things ready just in case and went away, I lied to my mom that I made new friends and I'm gonna have a sleepover. So I went off with my bike. I reached at the forest, it was all dark in there but I was lucky that I brought a flash light with me. The trees stood tall in front of me, thick huge, and gloomy. It kinda sent shivers all over my body,but I knew that I would be alright, and I went off into the woods. I was walking and walking and walking until I came up to stairs that lead to a gate, I wasn't sure if I should go in there but, hey what did I come here for, I went up the stairs and through the gate. It was getting a bit boring so I thought I should go but then something interesting caught my eye, I saw this little hut or wood stacked up together to make this weird type a cave, but I didn't hesitate to go in. All I saw was some candles, bones and other things but nothing too interesting. So I got out of that hut. Still walking I saw a shadow maybe it was the creature everybody was talking about but it was just a raccoon, then I saw this old woman standing right in front of me but I couldn't catch her it's like she vanished into thin air. I took a break as I was drinking water and I saw a castle, the castle was so big but then I was thinking that maybe there's a curse on the castle cause it looked haunted and oh yea everybody might asking what happened to my bike well it's outside the forest, anyway I went in the castle and saw these big rooms but they weren't normal I could sense a soul in the rooms so definitely the castle was cursed but I walked out of there easily, no troubles. As I was walking the old lady just appeared again, it was like she was giving me directions, like a compass. I followed her again but she vanished quickly, maybe she was the creature I thought. Anyways I found this little cottage, the cottage was old, rickety and the color of brownish orange. Lots of things were wrong with this cottage, well for starters it had no door, the windows were shattered, the roof had holes and some of the wood had been eaten by termites. I went in the small old cottage, inside was like really big actually bigger than my room, it looks tiny on the outside but it's huge on the inside. I was searching around for clues when suddenly I fell in this trap door, I used my flashlight to see, it was so disgusting in there and it smelled like a zombie just ate there. Then suddenly I heard this weird type a growl or something like the creature was here, the only reason kids call it shadow was because they think it moves really fast, then the creature came up to me, it had no eyes it could only listen, so I thought if I make noise it will eat me alive I had to be very quiet. I found this broken chair that maybe might reach the trap door but it didn't I found different type of things a stacked them all on top of each other, as I was climbing one of things fell off and the monster heard it, I had to act fast I got thing from the floor and put it back on the stack and then I pushed open the trap door and ran but the creature got my shoe, I was lucky to be alive. I ran back home, the next day I was at school but I didn't tell anybody about the creature, I know they won't believe me, so I kept it to myself, I promised my self that I would never go in that forest and I know the creature is still there, growing day by day eating everyday.
