The night was cold. There wasn’t a star that can be seen as the drop of the cold rain fall into the sidewalk, soaking the girl in the rain with her jacket that can’t even bring her warm.

A neutral expression covered her whole face with her dull brown eyes staring back at the wet road. Her hands keep on fisting beside her thighs. She didn’t even realize she’s crying before she felt hot liquids falling down her cheeks, mixing up with the cold drops of rain that cascades on her face.

For an hour just standing there, she finally made a move by moving her head up. At the same time, a thunder strike but she didn’t feel herself flinch. Shutting her eyes close, a small and sad smile tugs on her lips before the last tear slip into her eyes before hearing a honk of a truck.

Opening her eyes, she walks and stopped into the middle of the road waiting for her death. She didn’t know that she wouldn’t die.
