"No." Adam said, matter-of-factly.
"No?!" Charlie snapped, lifting her phone down from in front of her face to slam it onto the table. Charlie did this a lot, and yet it seemed her phone was indestructible. Charlie was a fan of expressing her emotions through actions. She had family on broadway, so it was technically in her blood to be dramatic. Now, though, she was trying to convince Adam to revive her fathers old company of Freddy Fazbear's. Of course, it was a bit different. In which, instead of a cutesy family friendly show, it was going to be a horror attraction. The whole thing already was one.
She wanted him to be the night guard.
Of course, Adam's father also worked at Freddy's. And he'd heard the story of what had happened to Mike Schmidt and the missing children and Dave (hats off in respect). And...
Max. Do you remember him?
He couldn't go back. He wouldn't go back. He'd lost his whole family to those smiley robot pieces of shit, and he wasn't gonna sacrifice his life for Charlie's dream. Sometimes it seemed he was the only person in Hurricane who made sense, considered other peoples feelings and was actually human.
Uhhh, you killed your brother?
The voices. How could he forget him. He'd started plaguing him immediately after Max flat lined. He, apparently, was called Friendbear. Adam tried his best to block him out. But, unfortunately, he had the patience and temper of a dying teenager. And that was both of them combined.
It wasn't healthy to listen to listen to him, but at least he wasn't a murderous child killer. Unlike some people.
"It's a horrible idea," Adam shrugged, looking at the table. He needed to work on his problem of not looking people in the eyes when talking.
"It's the only thing we can do to keep this franchise running," Charlie stirred her macaroni et fromage around in its bowl, pulling a disgusted face at the noise it made, "we have to keep my father's legacy alive somehow."
I'm gonna kill her.
Charlie was obsessed with her family. Her... dead family. All she thought about was rebuilding the Freddy Fazbear franchise to keep Henry's legacy alive. Henry created the original animatronics, built the restaurant, owned it. William Afton, Adam's dad, created the Sister Location.
The Sister Location, in question, was burned down. It burned down just after Max was hospitalised. He died in hospital a week after that. The scene was interesting. Some people went down to investigate, and they all told a different story. One of the animatronics malfunctioned whilst they were down there and moved. One of the animatronics said a couple of broken noises that sounded like "s... ave... them." One of the animatronics vanished from sight. A massive jumble of wires and electricity with a mask on kept watching them. That was the only thing everyone confirmed. That mess.
But strangely, not a single person figured out why it was burned.
A/N:
Well that's what happens when you get a group of slackers in.
Also there's a kind-of mystery with the timelines of Max's death now.
Did it even happen?
