A Beautiful Voice | Jackson X Reader

CHAPTER 1

The sunlight of the mid-afternoon hit Y/n, who was in the after sitting under a tree taking shade from it while singing eyes on you a song from her favorite Kpop boy band Got7. Y/n, a girl who is 23 years old who has a beautiful voice but hides it from her family and friends and she is someone who loves to enjoy her mid-afternoon or anytime if she didn't have work in the park which was near her home. Jackson was her bias, even though she couldn't got to a fan sign and meeting him in person, she loved how hard working he is and because of that she has fallen in love with him. She did hope that she could meet him one day.

Jackson's pov

Our schedules are over, well not fully over. Our group got a one week off since most of our schedules are over for Flight log: Arrival album. Jinyoung and Yugyeom went home since they wanted to spend some time with their family, so it's just Mark hyung, Jb hyung, Bambam, Youngjae and me in the dorm.

It was a bit bored in the dorm. So I thought of going to the park which is near to our dorm to get some fresh air and to release my boredom. I got up from the couch, went to my room to get my phone. I got out of my room and went to wear my shoes. As I was about to head out, I heard Jb hyung call me "Jackson!! Where are you going?" "To the park since I want to get some fresh air" "ok. Be safe" Jb hyung said.

*Time skip*

I was now at the park. Wow!! It's been awhile since I came here I usually come here even when I have schedule, to get some fresh air, to think or with other members but I mostly come here alone. It has changed a bit.

I walked around a bit and sat on the bench for awhile until when I heard a familiar voice that I heard when I last came here alone. The girl was singing one of our song, so I followed her voice.

I can't describe her voice. Whoever she is her voice is beautiful. I am in love with that voice or maybe in love with her. I followed the voice, it led me to a girl who was sitting under the big tree in the park.I saw the same girl that I saw the last time I came here.

Her eyes were closed as she was singing. There were flowers bloomed around her which made her look more beautiful. She looks cute like the last time I saw her and her voice it's beautiful. I could listen to her all day. When I hear her voice it makes me feel relaxed and makes my day.

As I was looking at her, it got interrupted by my phone ringing. I looked at my phone and it was Bambam giving me a call. "Hello!" I said as I picked up the phone call. "Hyung!! Where are you?" Bambam said in a tone where he wants me to buy something from the convenience store.

He uses this tone not to me only but to others when he wants any of us buy something for him. "At the park. Wae? (Why)" I told him through the phone. "Can you but me some chocolates from the convenience store?" Bambam said. See told you. He always does it. But that is Bambam being Bambam. "Ok. Bye" I said. "Thank you hyung. Bye" he said.

I sighed as I hanged up. I don't want to leave the park. I looked up at the girl and made eye contact as I was keeping my phone in my pocket. She smiled at me. It made my heart flutter. I have never felt this way. Have I fallen in love with her at first sight? Not just her voice but her. As I was in my thoughts I remembered that Bambam told me to buy him chocolates.

So, I went to the convenience store. Also, I thought of coming here tomorrow but a bit early since I wanna see her.

Y/n's pov

It's just like normal days. Wake up, eat breakfast, go to work, go home, eat lunch, go to the park, go home, eat, rest, do something then sleep. It was like that except Sunday because it closed during the day and afternoon, opens in the evening. And today is just another boring normal...........or so I thought.

While walking to my work place, black and green cafe, I realized that I've just wasted my time. Since when did I become so forgetful and clumsy?? The cafe is closed today uggh..

Well, there is nothing more I could do. I then started to walk back home. Don't think negative!! I could just go home, have a snack and go to the park, sit under the big tree that I always sit and tried while listening to music. I thought and made my way home.

*Time skip*

I have arrived at the park and now I am sitting in my usual place which is the big tree in the park, listening to one of Got7 song eyes on you. As I was listening I didn't realize that I had started singing, so I closed my eyes.

After awhile I opened my eyes while adjusting to the sunlight. Saw a person standing infront of me but from a bit far away. As I have adjusted my eyes I again looked at the person and realized that it was my bias making eye contact with me. I smiled at him.

Was he here the whole time? Did he hear me sing? Questions where popping in my head one after another.

After awhile he walked away. I checked my phone for the time, it was almost the time to go for work so I got and went home.

Jackson's pov

I went to the dorm after I went to the convenience store to buy chocolates to Bambam. I opened the door and got inside, saw Youngjae playing video games with Mark hyung, Jb hyung in the kitchen and as for Bambam he came and jumped on me saying "hyung did buy it?", I showed him the chocolates and smiled. "Thanx hyung" he said.

"Can't you go and buy it Bambam-ah" I said. I am not mad at him or anything, I love to do things to them but they are grown up they need to do something. "I am too lazy today hyung" he said as he pouted at me. Aish!! I cannot do anything when yugyeom and Bambam pouts. They are just so cute.

I went to my room and laid on my bed. As I closed my eyes, the memories of awhile ago came my mind, without me knowing a smiled formed on my lips. I knew that I was smiling until Mark hyung came and said " Jackson... Your smiling like an idiot for awhile from now. For What are you smiling at?" He asked. "Nothing" I said.

"Ok" he said as if he didn't believe it. After he went out of the room, I took a nap before dinner time.

Yugyeom: omg this is so cute. Hyung is in love.

Jackson: yah!! Maknae-ah
