Midnight, the moon high and glowing onto the ground above.

Aaron used to feel a thrill being like this, sitting in the bushes atop his horse waiting for a train to start moving just so he could stop it.

Now he just felt sick to his stomach.

Something felt wrong about all this and he couldn't shake it. He remembers how he felt before, the freedom, the excitement.

Why was it all so different now?

"It's leaving soon, are you ready boss?" He felt sick, like he was about to throw up, but he nodded anyway, he needed to do this.

Mason had a sick grin on his face that didn't help Aaron's hesitance. It made his stomach turn and heart rush.

In a second the train started to move and they trot with it, then slowly break into a run, whopping and hollering and making all kinds of racket. Aaron rides up to the back car Eclipse running as hard as he can.

He leaps to the back car and lands directly onto the platform, Eclipse immediately backs off and slows to a trot, huffing.

Aaron springs to his feet and bursts through the cars, there are no passengers, it's merely a cargo train, finally he reaches the room filled with gold.

He jumps between the cars trying to undo the hitch when it dawns on him.

Eclipse wouldn't be able to catch up to the train, and Mason and Garroth would be waiting for the car, that he wouldn't be in.

They were going to leave him here, as the fall guy.

But it's too late, the car is undone and starts rolling down the track with the back of the train, he turns, cursing himself for being stupid.

"Bandit betrayal. How rich." A sheriff points a gun into his chest with a smirk on his face, Aaron's heart jumps up to his throat and so does most of his insides, he puts his hands in the air because he knows he's caught.

"Listen, I promised a very important person that I'd be back to take care of them. If you just, let me go, and I'll be outta your hair." The sheriff chuckles, but puts down his gun.

"I'm afraid I can't do that." Mason pushes through the door behind him, a smirk on his face, as a large sum of cash passes between them.

"He's all yours sheriff." Mason chimes, waving the cash in Aaron's face, while he stands dumbstruck.

"Sorry friend, nothin' personal. Just business, and you are much more valuable to me alive." He laughs and strides past the door, stuffing the money in his pocket.

"You backstabbing Son of a bitch!! You can't do this!" Mason looks past with a sarcastic frown on his face.

"Oh come on! Your so predictable. I kill a son. You come running in to save the day. And I get paid." Aaron's eyes grow wide with rage. He see's nothing but red.

"It was you!? You killed Levin!?" Mason's smirk got larger, and he laughs maniacally.

"Well, it wasn't my intention to kill him. But it did the job getting you here, didn't it?  Brought to me a beautiful little new toy too, she's gonna need a shoulder to cry on when she finds out that yet another loved one is killed." Aaron lunges at him but the sheriff stops him. Pointing a gun at his head.

"Get down!" The sheriff yells, and Aaron gets pushed down to his knees, Mason hovering over him.

"Get down like the pitiful little dog you are." Mason pats his head and strides out the door, a Still wide grin on his face.

"Don't worry, I'll visit you in prison, who knows, maybe I'll even throw you a bone." He laughs and steps out, Aaron being tied up and blindfolded.

He struggles against the binds unable to see, but something hard and blunt hits him in the back of the head, and he grows still.

"Toss him in the cell!" He felt himself being thrown onto a hard surface and the sound of a cell door being slammed behind him, a bag still over his head.

He tries to remove the bag but his hands are still bound, but he didn't need to, a bag was forced from his head and a bright light in his eyes.

"Welcome to Hell Lycan."
