"We are here to celebrate the life of a truly amazing women, Lily Bieber. Devoted wife, mother, daughter and friend who was tragically taken from us too soon." The preacher said as he began the ceremony.

Everyone was dressed to the nines and the whole church was filled to capacity with crying fans, family members and friends of my beloved wife.

She was gone.

She would never be back.

Although we got married right out of college, I knew was the one I would be with forever. She was the most loving, caring and warm person I had ever met. How could I ever want anyone else?

I was a twenty-six-year-old widower and those were words I never thought I would utter. How could my wife be gone?

I would never be able to look into those big, blue eyes or feel her soft hair or touch her supple skin. She was everything to me and now she was gone.

How the hell was I going to survive? What was I supposed to do now?

The ceremony continued and everyone was balling their eyes out except me. I wanted to pour out my soul but I knew I couldn't. I had to stay strong for my children Elissia, aged five and Parker, aged two.

I knew Parker didn't understand what was going on and it killed me to think that he would never know his mother. In a couple years, his memory would fade and he wouldn't remember anything about her. He was so young and no child should have to lose a parent like this. He had such little time with her, and I prayed that we had enough pictures so that he could see what a beautiful person his mother was.

Elissia, although only five, was light years ahead of her time. She was like a small adult and understood the severity of everything that was going on. She was smart and creative just like her mother. I held her the entire night after Lily died and she screamed her lungs out until her throat was raw. What was going to happen to her now that she didn't have a mother? Could I be that for her?

I hated to say it but I couldn't even look at my daughter without having my heart ripped out, because she looked more like Lily every day. Her blonde hair was growing down her back, just like Lily's and her blue eyes were filled with tears as she looked to the podium.

I looked at the loving faces of my family who were all shedding their tears for my wonderful wife. My father Jeremy, who thought of Lily like a daughter and my mother Pattie, who was more than I could have ever deserved. She helped me immensely those first few days after Lily's passing and I couldn't have made it without her.

My older brother Jaxon; the joy of the family, but now, his face was blotchy and red from crying. He had his arm wrapped around the shoulders of his beautiful new girlfriend Rose. They had just started going out a couple months ago but she stayed with the family and helped us through our tough times. My younger sister Jazmyn was the most emotional because Lily was her best friend.

We had all lost someone special today and I didn't know if I was ever going to make it through.

God, help me.
