"Everyone! Today we have a new student. Eden, will you please come up here?" I stood in the back of the room, back against the wall, arms crossed. I walk to the front of the room, and face the class and re-cross my arms.

"This is Eden Ann-" The teacher begins.

"Just Eden. Please" I tell the teacher. She nodded and continues.

"This is Eden Glass." I glance around the room, to see that all eyes where on me.  "Now, class I expect nothing but good behavior to our new student, and greet her with open arms." I glare at the class, telling people "I don't need your open arms greeting"

"OK, Eden" The teacher turns to me. Will you please sit...." She looks around the room. "Next to Kellie."

"Who?" I ask. I know full well who Kellie is, as the teachers is staring at her, and the empty seat next to her.

"Right over there." The teacher says and nodes towards Kellie. Kellie locks eyes with me and waves. Maybe we should try to friendly at this school. I think, and wave back. I walk to the empty seat and move to sit down and take my backpack off, then realize I left my backpack in my new locker. All I have is my schedule, and my phone. Both in my back pocket.

I sit, and pull my stuff out of my back pocket. I put my schedule on the desk and my phone on my lap. I briefly look at my schedule to see that I have choir first. The bell rings, ending homeroom, and Kellie looks over at me and says, "What do you have first?"

"Choir" Is it any of your business?

"Cool! Me to!" I don't know what to bring for Choir so...

"Do we bring something for choir?"

"Nothing, but you can bring your phone if you want to, if you have one. Mr. Joneeas, doesn't care. In fact he just puts that you perpetrated no matter what. Trust me." She smiles, and walks out the door. Great. She didn't show me where choir was. Guess i'll have to find it. I look at my schedule again, and it says COB 101.

That must stand for Choir, Orchestra, Band. I remember I saw'll that down the hall from my locker in the intersession hall. From the front of the main entrance there was a circle, with the office straight ahead, the freshmen hallway to one side, next to that was the sophomore hall, then the office, then junior, then the senior hall, last but not least the COB hall.

I walk out the class, and when I get to the COB hallway, there's 3 doors spaced far apart with a set of bathrooms on the other side of the classes. COB 101, COB 102, COB 103. I enter 101, and Kellie see's me first. She waves and pats a seat next to her that's empty. Why are all her 'next door' seats empty?
